Summary: cosy furnished house with attention to detail with a small enclosed garden (great for our dog) in a quiet residential area, but only a few minutes walk to the beach or town (for smaller grocery purchases). Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to meet our hosts in person, but we found a bottle of homemade fries in the fridge as a little welcome gift and greeting - very tasty! The hosts have provided an information folder with lots of helpful tips (also including good restaurants). You can see Mont Saint Michel well from the beach (great view), there are very nice beaches, a nice hiking trail and the excursion possibilities in the surrounding area are great, for example Saint Malo or Granville.

Summary: This lodging is a good starting point for the various sightseeing around and a good place for relaying after the trip. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. It would be better to know french.

Summary: Very comfortable for 2 adults, extremely welcoming hosts, all requirements met, great table tennis equipment, lovely village with superb boulangerie & epicierie, very close to the beach & lovely beach bars/restaurants. Mont St Michel not far away by car, and St Malo an hour on the motorway. Great beach walks. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Summary: We needed a place to stay in between visiting Mont Saint-Michel one day and Omaha and Juno Beach the next day before we went to back to Paris. The cottage was close to the beach, which was a great location for our dinner and breakfast the next morning.

Summary: We had a few very pleasant days and enjoyed our stay in this little house. It is incredibly comfortable and provides everything one might need, and the rooms are nicely decorated and clean. The beach is only 3 minutes on foot away and has a nice little bar and restaurant - although we missed our chance to get dinner there because it seems to be quite popular. Booking a table in advance may be a good idea. While we didn't have much of a chance to talk to Pierre-Yves and Nadine, they were very nice and helpful when we had questions! :) Thankfully they spoke a little English, as our French is awful. A side note for dog owners: Dogs are welcome too (which was how we found this nice little house in the first place), but note that the house and the backyard as seen on the pictures are not fenced off. With our dog, who listens well and doesn't wander much anyway, it wasn't a problem at all, but for others it may be good to know.
