Summary: This was a perfect spot to stay to enjoy the Ark and Creation museum. Everything was thought of and didn’t need anything. They even have a baby monitor which was nice. The fire pit was perfect and our daughter loved the cool room with the painting on the walls. We have a lovely time and will be renting this place again for sure.

Summary: We booked this home as a place to crash at the end of our busy days on our trip to Kentucky but it ended up being so much more than that. It felt truly like a home away from home. Leslie thought of everything we would need, and more. It was welcoming and still very practical. Pots and pans, dishes and cutlery, cooking utensils, even spices and condiments were available for use. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. The bedrooms were spacious and well appointed, with comfortable beds. There were 2 living spaces which came in handy when the kids were full of energy and grandma was... not. It was conveniently located near Rabbit Hash.Beyond the practical things is where this home really shined. There is a big beautiful tub that both our children loved taking baths in. There was a basket of musical instruments and an assortment of games and coloring books for curious kids to use. There is a lovely gazebo and a stocked up firepit, perfect for unwinding under the sky. We sat together around the kitchen table and played games and shared meals while watching the birds visit the feeders. We laughed around a fire, we hid from a downpour in the gazebo. We caught frogs and chased butterflies, and not once but twice a mama doe came through with her little Bambi!Leslie seems to have found the key to making a home feel just right. Things that are useful in a home have been elevated to useful and beautiful. Things that are beautiful in a home have been elevated to beautiful and useful. This is not the place for you if you are looking for a blank space without personality. There is eclectic decor tastefully done throughout the home. I have 2 children and found nothing that was concerning, quite the opposite, in fact. This is definitely the place for you if you want a memorable, remarkable stay. I don't know the owner but I feel like, after staying in her home, I wish I did. If we ever make it back that way, we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. In fact, we would jump at the chance.
