House Description
Vila Guerreiro has been carefully refurbished with quality materials and good finishes, but maintaining its character and initial charm.
In this villa you can appreciate unique architectural features such as the spectacular hand-made brick vaulted ceilings, hand-painted tiles and its unique inner courtyard with a fish pond, where you can relax to the sound of the water fountain, or simply enjoy. from the sun and privacy of the interior space.
This charming villa has plenty of natural light from the many south-facing windows and doors and the inner courtyard. From this patio you can also access the bedrooms and living room, as well as the panoramic roof terrace where you can relax and enjoy a Beautiful sunset.
Facing south, the Villa has a covered terrace with a dining table with seating for 8 people, where you can also access the garden area with the pools, where you can enjoy sun all day.
The Villa has been tastefully decorated and equipped with everything our guests may need, the spacious living room features a large and comfortable sofa and digital satellite TV, radio, DVD player and Wifi internet,
This villa has 3 bedrooms, one en suite, with a luxurious bathroom, the other bedrooms have one double and two single beds, and share a spacious bathroom.
The kitchen has also been refurbished, but some of its original elements such as the typical Portuguese tiles have been retained, but modernized and fully equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, hob and oven, microwave, oven, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board, etc.) also has a dining area with a large table where you can eat up to 8 people.
ABOUT LOCATION:
This villa has a great location near the well-known “Três Palmeiras” restaurant, between the Oura area and downtown Albufeira, which you can easily reach on foot within 5 to 10 minutes.
The house is also very close to several beaches, such as Oura Beach, Aveiros Beach and Forte São João Beach.
If you do not need a car to stay at our house, you can easily reach many places of interest, beaches, restaurants and shops on foot.

At 5min from the Villa, you can access the well-known and popular Oura Street, full of bars, restaurants and shops, full of excitement and early nightlife.
Oura beach with its long sandy beach is one of the best-known beaches in the whole Algarve. Those looking to feel the warmth of summer and all its surroundings, find here the ideal place.
However and if you are looking for a more relaxing holiday and Portuguese culture then we advise the old part of the reservoir.
ANCIENT CITY
Albufeira's Old Town is calmer and more family-friendly than Oura, the central square is known for its liveliness and is surrounded by cafes and restaurants, where you can enjoy a nice meal or just have a drink. and listen to live music.
The surrounding streets are also a delight, you can find a wide range of shops, from craft, clothing and leather shops, there are also many more restaurants and bars between shops so there is never a shortage of places to eat and drink!
There are two main beaches in the old town, Fisherman's Beach and Tunnel Beach, which are usually crowded with tourists during the bathing season.
Albufeira is also known for the quantity and quality of its beaches, being the county awarded with more blue flags.

Summary: The house is exactly as described in the offer: a spacious and very cosy house around a beautiful patio (with a turtle and fishes in a basin). All on very high standard and in perfect shape. We liked the modern bathrooms, the good beds and all the nice furniture and typical Portuguese architectural elements, which make you feel very comfortable from day one and let you forget being in a holiday house. Kitchen has all of equipment you can imagine, including modern oven and induction field, dishwasher, big fridge and plenty of dishes, glasses, pots and pans. We also enjoyed the nice barbecue area. The house and the pool are very clean. We had weekly cleaning and towel renewal (including pool/beach towels) without extra charge and regular pool cleaning. Never had such a clean house before. The best of all without any doubt is Helena as the host. We never had such a caring host in a holiday house before, starting from the welcoming all though the handover at the end. Whatever it is: Helena will respond within minutes when contacted and finds a solution. She is at hand with good recommendations, and is such a friendly and supportive woman. Thanks very much for this!What everybody should have in mind when choosing Albufeira for holiday: it’s not a quiet place (a matter of the place as such, not the house), so you will need to bear with some noise when being there. The sleeping rooms and the patio however are quiet places, so sleep and relaxing times are not at risk.

Summary: Helena was an exceptional host. She met us on our arrival to show us around the villa etc despite it being late into the evening due to airport passport control delays. She came mid week to clean the pool and then came to say goodbye on our departure day. She was always available if there was anything we needed. The Villa was so well equipped with everything we needed and our little granddaughter was fascinated by the fish and turtle. We would recommend the local palacete restaurant as it was in a quieter location and the food was very good. Land train very convenient to access the old town. On the whole a happy family holiday.

Summary: Unbelievable stay at this Villa. Had everything we needed and wanted as a group of friends. Helena was the best host we could ask for and it all added up to be one of the best and most memorable holidays we’ve ever had. Great location, great surroundings and fantastic place to relax, have fun in the pool, and come back home to after a night out. Would recommend and would definitely stay again

Summary: Helena the host was absoloutely lovely. The villa is just as good as the pictures, if not better. It has EVERYTHING you need. Brilliant location close to the new town and old town. So many lovely outdoor seating areas (we loved spending the evenings in the couryard with the pet tortoise and fish!!) Couldnt fault our visit, would 100% reccoment. Brilliant value for money.

Summary: We loved the layout of the villa, it felt very spacious, with an inner courtyard, roof terrace and outdoor pool/garden area.The decor was lovely - traditional, with thoughtful touches like pool towels, fleece throws for cooler evenings etc.The beds were very comfortable.

Summary: We were three couples, all aged mid-seventies, travelling to Portugal for the first time. Our stay at Helena’s villa could not have been more perfect. The home was a mixture of old world construction with updated bathrooms and kitchen. It was situated within a 30 minute walk from Old Albufeira as well as “The Strip” where one could find many bars, shops and restaurants. The kitchen had everything you needed to make a meal, the beds were comfortable and the whole villa was spotless. Helena was the perfect host spending time to show us around and tell us about things to do in the area. I would definitely book this property again.

Summary: The main sitting area could have done with means of heating.Other than that we found the area relaxing and the choice of local restaurants execellent.The listing should make it clear that the nearby restaurant Tres Palmeiras had been closed for a number of years.

Summary: We had a lovely stay at this property. The location was really convenient and within walking distance of both the old town and beaches. The property was immaculate and had everything we needed, with lots of different places to hang out together. Helena was very accommodating and helped us out with any request and let us have a later check out as there were no other guests arriving that day. Thanks for a lovely stay.
