House Description
Vila Guerreiro has been carefully refurbished with quality materials and good finishes, but maintaining its character and initial charm.
In this villa you can appreciate unique architectural features such as the spectacular hand-made brick vaulted ceilings, hand-painted tiles and its unique inner courtyard with a fish pond, where you can relax to the sound of the water fountain, or simply enjoy. from the sun and privacy of the interior space.
This charming villa has plenty of natural light from the many south-facing windows and doors and the inner courtyard. From this patio you can also access the bedrooms and living room, as well as the panoramic roof terrace where you can relax and enjoy a Beautiful sunset.
Facing south, the Villa has a covered terrace with a dining table with seating for 8 people, where you can also access the garden area with the pools, where you can enjoy sun all day.
The Villa has been tastefully decorated and equipped with everything our guests may need, the spacious living room features a large and comfortable sofa and digital satellite TV, radio, DVD player and Wifi internet,
This villa has 3 bedrooms, one en suite, with a luxurious bathroom, the other bedrooms have one double and two single beds, and share a spacious bathroom.
The kitchen has also been refurbished, but some of its original elements such as the typical Portuguese tiles have been retained, but modernized and fully equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, hob and oven, microwave, oven, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board, etc.) also has a dining area with a large table where you can eat up to 8 people.
ABOUT LOCATION:
This villa has a great location near the well-known “Três Palmeiras” restaurant, between the Oura area and downtown Albufeira, which you can easily reach on foot within 5 to 10 minutes.
The house is also very close to several beaches, such as Oura Beach, Aveiros Beach and Forte São João Beach.
If you do not need a car to stay at our house, you can easily reach many places of interest, beaches, restaurants and shops on foot.

Oura beach with its long sandy beach is one of the best-known beaches in the whole Algarve. Those looking to feel the warmth of summer and all its surroundings, find here the ideal place.
However and if you are looking for a more relaxing holiday and Portuguese culture then we advise the old part of the reservoir.
ANCIENT CITY
Albufeira's Old Town is calmer and more family-friendly than Oura, the central square is known for its liveliness and is surrounded by cafes and restaurants, where you can enjoy a nice meal or just have a drink. and listen to live music.
The surrounding streets are also a delight, you can find a wide range of shops, from craft, clothing and leather shops, there are also many more restaurants and bars between shops so there is never a shortage of places to eat and drink!
There are two main beaches in the old town, Fisherman's Beach and Tunnel Beach, which are usually crowded with tourists during the bathing season.

Summary: We were three couples, all aged mid-seventies, travelling to Portugal for the first time. Our stay at Helena’s villa could not have been more perfect. The home was a mixture of old world construction with updated bathrooms and kitchen. It was situated within a 30 minute walk from Old Albufeira as well as “The Strip” where one could find many bars, shops and restaurants. The kitchen had everything you needed to make a meal, the beds were comfortable and the whole villa was spotless. Helena was the perfect host spending time to show us around and tell us about things to do in the area. I would definitely book this property again.

Summary: The main sitting area could have done with means of heating.Other than that we found the area relaxing and the choice of local restaurants execellent.The listing should make it clear that the nearby restaurant Tres Palmeiras had been closed for a number of years.

Summary: We had a lovely stay at this property. The location was really convenient and within walking distance of both the old town and beaches. The property was immaculate and had everything we needed, with lots of different places to hang out together. Helena was very accommodating and helped us out with any request and let us have a later check out as there were no other guests arriving that day. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Summary: If you want a villa.in a prime location which is spacious, clean, with all mod cons and period touches, this is the holiday home for you. 2 mins walk to the nearest supermarket, 5 mins to the nearest beach, 10 mins to the Strip and 15 mins to the Old Town. Helena was a tremendous host and nothing was to much trouble...great communication. If you wish to visit the lovely resort of Albufeira this is for you. We will be back!

Summary: Great villa in a good location. Lots of character but with modern touches. Everything was quality. Situated between the new Albufeira strip and the old town. Five minutes walk to the beach. Nothing was too much trouble for Helena. Very helpful with the small issues we had and provided great advice as my wife was ill. Will book again.

Summary: We’ve had a fantastic 3night break as a group of 7 friends. Communication with Helena was excellent, the villa is beautiful and so spacious. The location is great, a 10 minute walk at most to the new town strip, old town is about 15 minutes but only 4 euros in an Uber. It has a lovely pool area, and a great roof top terrace. Would highly recommend this villa will definitely be returning!

Summary: The property was very well represented in the photos and felt larger and more open than expected. It is in a very central location between Old and new Albufeira with a short walk to the beach. The house is well stocked with amenities, feels updated and well cared for, and perfect for a summer holiday stay. The host was very communicative and helpful. I would highly recommend and return if I were to vacation there again. There is some noise at night so not the quietest spot, but a lovely stay overall.

Summary: Location is ideal and close to everything we needed, enjoyed by the entire family, we needed something like a vacation and to be able to make our own meals for the kids, everything was wonderful and the immediate follow up and communication with Helena was so easy!
