This two-bedroom apartment is in the heart of the Platinum Coast - the fabulous west coast of Barbados, renowned for its golden beaches and warm calm sea. The apartment is situated 5 minutesโ€™ walk from the sea at Glitter Bay. You can walk along the beach in both directions and find small restaurants and cafes in which to sit and have a drink or something more substantial. You can swim with the turtles and enjoy snorkeling along the coral reefs. The apartment is located in a small, quiet gated community of six apartments which nestle around a small swimming pool. It is on the first floor and therefore gets a refreshing breeze blowing through. There is space for parking a car outside โ€“ although renting a car is not necessary, as two minutesโ€™ walk away there is an extremely frequent bus service which will take you to all parts of the island. Holetown, the islandโ€™s main shopping centre is 10 minutes away by bus (and includes a large supermarket).
The apartment is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing time. There are two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a very large double bed and the second bedroom a smaller double bed. The apartment is best suited for two people (though a third can be easily accommodated (for an additional fee). There are two bathrooms โ€“ one en suite. It has a fully fitted kitchen with a large fridge freezer, hob and oven, microwave and washing machine. The large lounge has a west facing deck overlooking a fruit orchard where monkeys come and play in the morning and the sun goes down in the evening. There is fibre optic Wi-Fi and multichannel satellite TV. The apartment is extremely well maintained with a weekly maid service and a manager available to sort out any problems.

Summary: You cannot separate the property from the place. They are both welcoming and relaxing. We have enjoyed both Barbados and our apartment as if they were home. The apartment is well positioned to access the islandโ€™s facilities with the view from the balcony giving a flavour of what to enjoy on this beautiful island paradise. The apartment is very clean and well equipped with easy access to public transport to take you to the main towns on this side of the island. It is also literally a couple of minutes walk to breathtaking tropical sandy beaches which feel like the beating heart of the island.

Summary: Great location. Loved the pool. Well stocked kitchen. The only issue we encountered was with the plumbing. No hot water! Previous renters did not report it to the property manager. Lawson, the manager, addressed it immediately but unfortunately it could not be resolved during our one week stay. Regardless, I would definitely recommend this property!

Summary: We have just spent a week at this lovely apartment. The balcony is a really exceptionally nice addition and watching the monkey family every morning and feeding the adorable birds was so lovely and relaxing. We would definitely come back. Lawson the manager was really helpful and welcoming.

Summary: Really comfortable and well equipped apartment in excellent location. We had a very enjoyable 17 night stay over Christmas and New Year. Lawson was helpful on check in and Monica the housekeeper did a super job ensuring the apt was spotless and linens changed. The balcony was lovely and breezy in the morning, the cute family of monkeys fun to watch as we had coffee and delicious almond croissants from the nearby french bakery. We would definitely stay again.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - it was an easy process from start to finish! Mark was responsive initially and then when we got to Barbados both William who picked us up at the airport and Lawson who greeted us when we arrived at the apartment made it very easy to settle in and answered all our questions. The apartment has everything you need (except beach towels which might be nice if they were available) and is as shown in the pictures. We loved the veranda in the morning and the beach is an easy walk away - we spent several days at Alleynes Bay - look for Rico's on the Beach for beach bed rentals and JuJu's Beach Bar for easy access to food and drinks! There are many restaurants within walking distance and Holetown for shopping is about a 20 minute walk or quick bus trip away. Thanks for sharing your lovely home and island!

Summary: The apartment was spacious (perfect for 4), clean, comfortable, bright and airy and conveniently located to beaches, restaurants, bars and public transport. All that and located at the quiet end of the street. The balcony was a great spot to take morning coffee and meals and the pool a relief to have to relax in at the end of the afternoon. This property fully met our expectations.

Summary: The apartment is much larger than the pictures would suggest. It has a lovely veranda where we did spot monkeys most mornings taking fruit from the land next door. On the day we arrived we were met by Lawson who showed us around and how everything worked. He did also check in the next day to make sure we were okay. The location is fabulous you can walk to a lovely part of the beach in 5 mins and rent a deck chair and parasol and spend all day there ! Would we stay again ? Of course we would !

Summary: We had a wonderful week in this great apartment. The photos donโ€™t do it justice especially the verandah which is just amazing for breakfasts watching the monkeys & sundowners watching the amazing sunsets! Fantastic location, just 5 minutes to the beaches & just away from the main road, so peaceful & quiet. Walking distance to Lonestar & Santiโ€™s, definitely recommend Santiโ€™s for happy hour & inexpensive meals. Well equipped villa in a small friendly complex. Mark & Sheila were very helpful when booking, sending lots of useful information & very efficient in all respects. Would definitely book here again. Ideal for 2 couples or a family.
