Positive: A beautiful, peaceful château with rooms that have been lovingly preserved yet remain comfortable. Breakfast features fresh, locally sourced ingredients and offers a view of the garden. We had pleasant, personal conversations with the extremely friendly family who owns the place. We felt very comfortable and welcome the entire time.

Positive: Very nice chateau and home to the owner with a very attractive style in the main reception rooms. Homely and warm with owners pets around

Negative: Unfortunately we arrived when there was no proprietor about and the person holding the fort did not know much at all. Including where to find the wi Fi code, where we could eat, where the drinks and food lived, and how to operate the bar etc. but with a lot of coaxing we eventually got some wine and cheese for our dinner.

Summary: We were in low low season but with a little bit more effort from the hotel we’d have had a very nice stay
