6 Bedroom House in Chappell Hill

Welcome to Chateau Relaxo! This 1890's farmhouse is the perfect spot for family reunions, wedding parties, guys/gals weekend or a large retreat.
The farmhouse has 6 bedrooms, 6 1/2 bath and sleeps 20 (6 king bedrooms, 1 queen, 2 twin beds, 2 daybeds with trundle twins).
If additional space is needed we have a barndominium with 3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 bath that sleeps 7 (2 king, 1 queen, 1 twin) for an additional fee.

The farmhouse includes luxury sheets/bedding, towels, a full kitchen perfect for home cooked meals, multiple coffee makers with coffee, AC/Heat, soaking tub in two of the bedrooms, a full bathroom for all six king bed master suites, half bath off the kitchen, free WIFI, Direct TV, board games, ping pong table in the garage, toys for babies/small children upon request, washer/dryer, ironing board with iron and a hair dryer.
-The dining room offers three different tables that seat a total of 24 for the many gatherings to come.
-There are 3 fridges total (house, garage and pool house) for those who like to plan their meals ahead to bring.
-There are 2 stoves in the farmhouse kitchen and an additional stove in the pool house for your large gatherings
- Large Weber gas grill for outside grilling and a Komodo Joe grill (must provide your own lump charcoal for this grill)
- Large fire pit outside to sit around with family and friends or make smores (must provide your own wood)
-The pool house has a full kitchen and full bathroom. Enjoy the pool and hot tub and gaze at the stars with a night swim or relax on the back porch of the pool house.
-The gazebo seats 8 comfortably with outdoor lighting for a tranquil setting to enjoy morning coffee or drinks with friends during the incredible sunsets.
Watching for deer or hogs down by the creek is a common sighting. Please note that this is the country and there are critters like armadillos, raccoons, coyotes, rabbits, hogs, snakes and others that you may hear or see around the property. If you choose to venture out on the back of the property you do so at your own risk.
Enjoy the country setting just don't leave food outside overnight for them to enjoy when you head off to bed.

Summary: Our family gather at a mystery location for the last two year to celebrate our Christmas together. This year we chose Chappell Hill, Texas. We had a great time at the Chateau Relaxo. Summary: It is an older home, but spacious for our big family. Each bedroom has private bath which is huge with kids! The grounds are wonderful, very well stocked kitchen and 3 refrigerators is wonderful! Second stay and hope to return

Summary: Our family reunion here was wonderful . This exceptionally clean, spacious home was large enough for 6 couples- each with their own bedroom, bathroom! The kitchen hosted our cooking and gab sessions as we made wonderful meals to share, also plenty of dining space for all of us to eat meals together! The resort-like pool was incredible, and we spent hours poolside on a hot Texas summer day. The pool house offered space to have a snack or cooldown, shower off, and change before going back to the house. The evening outside with a bonfire was the perfect place to share old memories and toast to our family. The hosts were wonderful; Brenda was quick to respond to our questions! Perfect stay here, I can’t imagine how it could have been better!!

Summary: Wonderful home for our group of 13 adults! Clean, great communication from the host! One friendly suggestion - it would have been helpful to provide storage solutions for leftovers: Saran Wrap, Foil, disposable aluminum pans/containers. We had a wonderful catered dinner and had a hard time storing leftovers. Other than that, everything was perfection! We'd love to book this home again for our next family event!

Summary: We had a fantastic weekend with our group. Brenda was a pleasure to deal with and responded very quickly. The property was fantastic and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was perfect and it was nice to have the pool house to store snacks and beverages while swimming. We had a small problem and they were quick to come over to access the problem and then offered a quick solution. We would definitely stay again.

Summary: This property is a perfect stay for a large group or family. My family consist of 13 people ages 7 through 68. It is comfortable, clean and very spacious. The host is very prompt in responding to our needs. 3rd year in a row that we've stayed. Looking forward to next year.
