Summary: A trip back in time, we were welcomed by the nature of birds upon arrival. House is fully equipped even with a fireplace which proved of great value during the colder climate. A short drive to the shops is also very convenient. Fit for purpose, I would recommend this for a comfortable stay!

Summary: Chatelaine is an amazing property that exceeded all of our expectations from the moment we stepped through the "beautiful" front door! The attention to detail was incredible - including the beautiful authentic furnishings and decor, the superb quality linen, the extremely generous breakfast provisions, wine, chocolates and port, the beautiful china, glassware and crystal - and of course the open fire and absolutely stunning views! The property was the perfect place for my husband, our two daughters and I to spend some much needed relaxing family time. We all thoroughly enjoyed the pool table and the open fire - with several books read by the fire during our stay! The level of cleanliness was also beyond anything we have experienced in other accommodations. We loved exploring the house and enjoyed all of the lovely art deco touches - the authenticity was amazing. We will definitely be back - and next time we will already know what a treat we are in for - a superb property that was warm, welcoming and made us all feel so at home.

Summary: Chatelaine is a wonderful house, spacious and comfortable. We were welcomed with wine and ample breakfast supplies and port to enjoy by the fire. The view out over the valley below Katoomba is breathtaking; the home warm and comfortable. Plenty of space for our family of five and Lorraine was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.
