A recently restored 1940s holiday flat one block from The 3 Sisters, Echo Point and the Prince Henry Cliff Walk.
It has polished hardwood floors, a restored kitchen and bathroom and Mid 20th Century Modern details and furnishings. Sun fills the space during the daytime and a beautiful 'Eco Smart' open fireplace keeps it cosy in the evening.

Facilities/ Entertainment
The Flat has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a double bed. There is also a substantial rollaway single bed that can be placed in any of the rooms. All the beds have new high quality mattresses and linen.
For weekend chefs the kitchen is well equiped
This is our holiday house, we do not live in the area and therefore we do not provide perishables such as milk and butter.
There is a TV, DVD, Video and CD players, turntable and iPod dock as well as a wide selection of games, books, music and movies.
Other: hairdryer, iron, washing machine, dryer, heaters in every room, linen and towels provided, coffee and tea.
No Pets or Smoking are allowed inside the flat.

You know all about the Blue Mountains and the many attractions... This is what we like to do when we stay.
Take a 30 minute bush walk to Solitary Restaurant for lunch.
Watch sun set on the 3 Sisters after all the tourists have left for the day.
Drink cups of tea on the front step in the morning sun.
Enjoy wine and cheese on the front step in the late afternoon before moving in to enjoy the open fire.
Explore the many different restaurants and cafes of Katoomba (our recommendations are on record at the flat)
Shop for 'bric a brac' in the countless second hand shops of Katoomba, Leura and Blackheath.

Summary: Cool Authentic Retro Unit for fun short stay in Katoomba. Funny to see the technology driven teenage kid’s reaction to the 50s decor of this great unit. Location was short walk to 3 Sisters info centre and walking/hiking trails. Located just the right distance from the hustle of the Katoomba town centre. Self sufficient accommodation with all the necessary amenities, good wifi.

Summary: Hi, Spent two nights with my paramour in this wonderful space. Even though it was cold and miserable outside the fireplace kept the home warm and the heaters in the bedroom took the edge off. The only small issue was the amount of hot water,. Even economic use sees it deplete far too quickly.... Highly recommended for a romantic weekend away. .

Summary: We stayed for two nights whilst taking in the scenery of Katoomba. The cottage is a step back in time and tastefully styled. All the basic comforts you would expect are provided and the location is perfect for accessing walking tracks without having to drive. We recommend this property, it was lovely.
