Positive: Ideal location just outside of York city centre. Beautiful house, good sized bedrooms and comfortable living areas. Gorgeous Christmas tree was an additional bonus. Good communication with the hosts. Convenient check in / check out.

Positive: What an amazing property in a beautiful location, it had everything we needed for our weekend away. Loved the amount of space and the comfort of the beds. We really liked the outdoor seating area and wish we were able to stay longer and make the most of everything on offer.
Negative: The only down point was the plugs aren't placed near the mirrors so was difficult when getting ready to go out (not much of a down point though).

Positive: The house is exceptional, the beds are comfortable and there's so much space for everybody. The garden is huge and made a great space for us. The photos don't do this place justice, it really is lovely. We were a group of 8 men and not once felt like there wasn't enough room and the house served us perfectly.
Negative: The only thing that could improve the place is a hot tub but I understand how expensive these are to run.

Positive: LOVED the property from the second we pulled up outside. Beautiful, spacious rooms and very sociable spaces to relax in the lounge and kitchen. Amazing outdoor space too. Loved the little touches - sleep eye masks were left in the bedrooms with skylights, so we weren’t disturbed by the early morning light.
Negative: The only thing we didn’t like was that we were only there for one night! Would love to stay longer next time.
Summary: Perfect accommodation in a quiet spot, on the outskirts of York.

Positive: Excellent house. Great indoor and outdoor spaces. Helped by a sunny day but we had an bbq in the evening sun surrounded by a lovely garden, with space and some toys provided for the kids to play with. Nice big lounge for communal space. Less than 15 minutes to drive into the centre of York, and about 20 minutes to Castle Howard.
Negative: Only a few minor bits really as it was excellent - a few items missing in the kitchen that you would normally expect, no info on what to do for recycling, freezer only in the outside kitchen. The big downside was that we were only there one night!
Summary: Amazing property. A touch of luxury at an affordable price.
