If you're looking for an adorable cabin on the river with easy access to North Georgia, this is it! The deck is literally on the river!
The cabin has updated appliances, including a dishwasher, washer/dryer, and HVAC. The one bedroom is perfect for two, and there's a queen-size sofa sleeper that can comfortably sleep two more. We love four-legged children, so this cabin is pet-friendly.
Sit back and enjoy the sound of the river, do a little fishing, or curl up with a good book! We are committed to providing a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for our guests.
The cabin features a cozy living room with a fireplace, a queen sofa bed with fresh bedding, and a lounge chair. The bathroom is a nice size with a walk-in shower. Mountain nights are usually cool, and the days are pleasant. The cable provider is Windstream, and we offer services through a smart TV. We provide complimentary Sling TV, but you can sign in to your own providers if you wish.
Please remember that the cabin is rural and has a rustic charm. Power outages can occur with storms or heavy winds. In such cases, we have an assortment of board games, cards, and fishing poles to help you enjoy your time unplugged.
The outdoor deck is almost as large as the inside, allowing guests to truly take in the private surroundings. It overlooks the river and is close enough to fish from the deck. Located at the end of a dead-end road, it's cozy and private with woods directly across the river.
It is just ten minutes to the delightful town of Dahlonega where you can buy your groceries and can even arrange to have them delivered to your car. You can also enjoy shopping at the many quaint places on the square, dine in several charming restaurants, canoe down the river, explore hiking trails galore, and find horseback riding less than two miles away. Summary: First of all, I have to say that Tina was the most amazing host! We had originally planned this weekend and booked the cabin for the middle of January. The day before we left, my elderly father became ill, so I had to message Tina to let her know we would not be making the trip and I was prepared to forfeit the rental expense. She completely understood our situation and offered to let us pick another weekend, something she absolutely did not have to do. It was a wonderful weekend and I am forever grateful for her kindness.The cabin was perfect! Clean, comfortable, cozy, and beautifully decorated! The deck overlooking the river was our favorite spot. My husband caught a fish and we watched a couple BIG trout the rest of the weekend that just didn't like what we had to offer! Dahlonega had good food, lots of shopping, and some interesting history.Check this place out! You'll love it!

Summary: The place is great, I would love to stay again! The peace and tranquility was just what I needed! You’re far enough out of town you barely hear road noise but close enough to enjoy dahlonega and Helen.

Summary: My husband and I were taking a mini vacation for our anniversary, we wanted to spend time in Dahlonega but also visit Helen. The location was perfect for that. Our only significant complaint is that GPS did not take us to the location, every time we used GPS (two different ones) it wanted us to drive off the mountain, if it hadn’t been for two neighbors, we would not have found it. Written directions along with the GPS address would be helpful. If you’re coming in after dark, it could be very difficult. The keypad did not work for us initially but was remedied by the owner fairly quickly. Cabin was as pictured, cute and well kept. Would recommend due to location and proximity for sure.

Summary: The prooerty was very lovely an so cozy! The communicatin with the property manager was fantastic!! We enjoyed the peace an quiet there! It was a much needed get away. We enjoyed the fire pit very much an i loved all the decor in the cabin. If i had to to say anything negative about this cabin would be the shower water doesnt get that hot its luke warm at best, which is fine but some people like hot showers. It was cold in the bathroom but i guess thats to be expected in a cabin. Over all it was a great place for the 2 of us. Only one thithing bothered me an that was no blinds on the doors, but im also just not used to it so it may not bother anyone else. Over all i loved it and would stay there again no question!

Summary: It was wonderful. Quiet and cozy, just like we wanted. Only issue we had was that we couldn’t figure out the locking mechanism on the door. Thankfully a side door was open since we didn’t get in until really late the first night. Otherwise, we absolutely loved it.
