Positive: - Parking for the car was inside the walled and gated front yard of the property, which was convenient. - Great shower, with boiling water and high water pressure. - Breakfast was quite nice, even though most of it was store bought. - Lots of information about the room and area was pre printed and translated to English for guests.

Negative: We booked this property based mostly on the great reviews it received, but were quite disappointed about the disparities between the descriptions/reviews and what we received in reality. In addition, the hosts' attitude was quite bizarre and off-putting. - It was very cold outside (5C), but they would not allow us turn up the heating since, as they said, "it was 19C inside which is normal". So heating controls were pre-set and locked. We believe it should be the guests' prerogative to decide if they are warm or cold enough, not the hosts'. They suggested we could use extra blankets if we wanted. - Wifi was terrible, slow and unstable. - Room is stated to be "soundproof", which was not the case. We could hear every car passing by outside (and it was by no means a busy main road). - Spa facilities are mentioned several times, both in the property's general description and in the amenities list. However, we were shown no such facilities, and also in the Q/A section of the property, we notice there is a question about whether there are spa facilities, to which the answer is "no". - The hosts insisted on showing us each and every aspect of the most basic facilities, and then insisting that we show them we understand; this is how you lock and unlock the door, this is how you operate the toilette, this is how you open/close the gate etc. At first it was adorable, but after 20min it became exhausting. We only wanted to get settled for bed, not be read the entire manual for the coffee maker (I am not making this up). Intrusive and truly uncomfortable. - We asked at what time we could check out at the latest, since sometimes there is some flexibility there. The host said with a smile that we should not be in a hurry since they had no reservation for the next evening, as long as we checked out at 11:00, which was the original check out time anyway.
