Summary: I'm always on the lookout for hidden gems when it comes to hotels. And this could be one added to my list. Location is terrific. Only a few minutes off the 119, or a leisurely drive through the State Park, this hotel offers more than ample accommodation and dining opportunity. Ideal for hikers and those seeking trail adventures, the Lodge is more than adequate to meet your needs. Pleasant staff and very clean.

Summary: The lodge is getting older, with maintenance working on replacing some siding, trim outside,and just age related general repairs. My room was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the Lodge has a relaxing atmosphere, while all staff are welcoming and friendly. I consider it a great place to stay, especially for visitors who enjoy 4- wheeling the Hatfield-McCoy Trails

Summary: Everything was great! The room was very nice,the lounge area was very nice, very clean. The restaurant waa nice and the breakfast options were.good. I already told my out of state family, this where they should be staying. I will go back. I took video but wish I had taken photos to share.

Summary: TVs should be updated to stream your Netflix and other apps some plugins didn't work and bed really loud structure good but beds and TVs need upgrades

Summary: Our stay was amazing. This was a hidden gem. The view was so great. Loved our room with the fireplace. The trails were great and offered a range of levels of difficulty which I appreciate. The lodge restaurunt offered a variety of good food. The service and cleanliness of the lodge was great. Cant wait to stay again.

Summary: Lodge is way outdated.cafeteria food quality was poor Beds were in really poor condition I usually sleep on one side or the other never in the middle when I tried sleeping on one side or the other I would absolutely start to roll off the bed. Beds were broken down horrible when you go to a lodge or a hotel you go there to sleep so you know it was a one star forest I was concerned with the bed in the room.
