Positive: Huge house, plenty of space for a group of 12 of us. Well set out and game room in the basement is a nice touch. Pool is a good size and big enough to keep everyone occupied. Beds were all very comfortable and the addition of an elevator was great and helped my dad navigate the 3 floors quickly. Kitchen is lovely, very well appointed with plenty of space to sit in the attached dining room. Close enough by car to Lourinhã which is a lovely town, plenty of places to eat, great beeches and attractions to visit.
Negative: Area is fairly rural so you need a car to get anywhere - which was fine for us. Pool area need attention. Area around the pool was slippy as soon as it was wet. Even walking slowly a few of us slipped over. A few of the large tiles at the pool edge are loose and need resetting. The Astro turfed area needs to be looked at as it appears to have washed away underneath the ‘grass’ leaving large voids underneath which could be dangerous. There also seems to be a leak in the pool at the far end near to the road, there is another large cracked tile and behind that in the grass a puddle of water appears after the pool has been used for a while, indicating an underlying leak in the drainage system. Flies are quite abundant, being semi rural there is lots of fields and farms while naturally being flies. We must have killed 30-40 while we were there, maybe an electric fly trap would be useful? Dogs barking at night is crazy, there seems to be about 5-10 dogs in the local area who bark for long periods of the day and sometimes at night until the very early hours. I guess nothing can be done as that is just the way of life over in Portugal.

Positive: The property was exactly as in the picture, plenty of space for the whole family as well as an amazing pool and other activities.
Negative: There were a few things nodding in the kitchen which made the cooking for a big group a little difficult. The owner was though very responsive and reacted quickly to our requests.

Positive: Amazing villa, very spacious. We really liked the overall look of the place, very bright and modern with plenty of rooms and bathrooms for everyone to use. The pool was absolutely great, as well as having enough sunbeds for the entire family. Also, the basement with games was great for the kids. The chill house team was also very responsive to our questions and requests, they even helped us book an activity so the service has also been wonderful.
Negative: Although, we had a few minor hiccups during the stay (pool lamp that came loose, the toaster that was broken) the team also made sure things were fixed as soon as possible so that's actually good. The area is not the greatest, that has nothing to do with the villa itself, but for anyone staying here, it is highly recommened to have a rental car to be able to do groceries or drive to the beaches as walking is too far and the roads in the area aren't exactly designed for walking.

Positive: Absolutely beautiful villa so clean and spacious. The beds are so comfy to sleep in. The pool is so clean. There was nine of us and there was so much space in the villa! We had the best stay and didn’t want to come home.
Negative: Nothing at all the villa was perfect.
Summary: The best accommodation I have ever stayed in!
