Positive: Initially, we had a minor issue with "Jamaican time" and ended up waiting close to an hour when we kept being told 5 - 10 minutes away. However, he drove us for free to get lunch at a nearby place. Also, on the day we were leaving, he drove us to the next resort and also to an atm in the opposite direction for no charge. In this city, taxis are ridiculously expensive for some reason, so even though the trips weren't very far, he actually saved us a lot of money. The room itself was really lovely. The view was amazing. Fully functional shared kitchen. Also gave us some free glasses of wine and an avocado from his garden. Overall, a really nice stay. A small walk to the main road but it didn't feel unsafe to me.
