I am unable to respond from July 13th-19th, 2025. I will get back to you as soon as I am able:) Escape to our cozy cottage, nestled on two beautifully maintained acres shared with the main house. This charming, standalone retreat offers the perfect place to unwind. The property features over 60 fruit trees, two friendly cats, a small dog, and a few chickens—giving it a peaceful, country feel.
The fully fenced property offers privacy and security with a gated entrance and code. We can accommodate up to two vehicles, and the cottage is just a short walk down a garden path from the parking area.
Conveniently located in the heart of Placerville, we’re close to shopping, the Placerville Fairgrounds, local wineries, Apple Hill, and skiing. Downtown Placerville is just minutes away and full of great dining, shops, and entertainment.
We’re animal lovers and welcome your well-behaved pup! Just a couple of requests: please don’t leave pets unattended, and be sure to clean up after them. We’ll provide a water bowl and biodegradable waste bags to make things easy.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chuckelli Farms, the property was clean, peaceful, and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and attentive, while still giving us privacy and space. The location was near shopping and restaurants, but far enough away where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. We highly recommend a stay here!

Summary: "Lovely, just....lovely." beautiful property, beautiful cottage. Chuck and Kelli thought of everything! So much charm and warmth. The whole process from start to finish was effortless. I would have loved to have stayed longer, so I guess that means a return is in my future? Absolutely! Excellent hosts!

Summary: Well, atmospheric rivers were pounding California just north of us, but we were graced with cold air, a bit of daytime rain as we explored the Hard Apple Route. We ended with a stroll on Placerville's Main Street *The Hardware Store; *Fountain & Tallman Museum!!! Oh, and a Happy Hour at Poor Red's. Rain fell all night on the cozy cottage while we were snug in our bed. It was all so special ~ thank you to the hosts!

Summary: Loved this Cottage it was amazing just as described. It is decorated so darn cute everything was perfect. Thanks for the snacks. The sheets were really soft and smelled amazing and yes, we will be coming back again too. I even feed the chickens which I never had so that was fun too. Sorry we didn't get to meet you but for sure next time. Great place to stay in Placerville for sure A+

Summary: Wonderful in all ways. Clean, with plenty of hot water, and so tastefully decorated! Kid size chairs on the deck are thoughtful, and they worked for me. Will definitely recommend!

Summary: My wife and I loved staying at the cottage. It was very clean, cute, private, and comfortable. The AC worked great and the bed was comfy enough. Overall a fantastic stay at this cottage, if you’re in the area don’t hesitate to stay here!
