Other Policy Please be aware that there are cats owned by the proprietor within the public areas of the accommodations. guests are not permitted to bring their own pets, when using sat nav to locate the property, please do not include the postcode, directions:, from the m5 after exeter take junction 31 marked a30 and travel for about 85 miles, from the a30 turn left at carland cross onto the a39 (signposted truro and falmouth), at the end of this road you will reach a t-junction and turn right onto the a39. follow the road through truro past two roundabouts, where you will start going up a hill on the bypass, at the top there is a crossroads with two mini roundabouts, turn left onto the road marked falmouth (a39), you will reach a roundabout at playing place. carry on a few yards to a second roundabout where there is a shell garage on the left and turn right onto a road marked bissoe and chacewater, follow the road for about a mile until you reach a crossroads with a church on the corner, carry straight on, underneath a railway bridge, and after about 200 yards is a small hamlet and chycara is on the right hand side. if you go past a ford, you’ve gone too far, come in through the gate and follow the road past the front of the house into a courtyard. we are the door marked chycara house.this property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties, it's recommended to bring your own vehicle since this property is not serviced by public transportation.

Positive: Bedrooms and bathrooms very comfortable and roomy

Negative: Property was let down by little things , tried to use oven but the smoke from cooker was terrible . Took plates from cupboard to find a plate that looked like somebody had used and just put away !! Lovely floorstanding lamp , put on to see how it looked , to see dead moths and flies in shades. Bread bin had a massive chip on lid , wouldn't take much to replace, especially as they say they charge for damage. Floor in open plan lounge kitchen needs attention. Husband went to iron a shirt only to find an ironing board cover with no fixings just have to rest on top board. All little things but could so easily be put right .

Positive: Hidden Hut was delightful. It was well appointed, spotlessly clean and in a superb location. The owners were friendly and very helpful. We loved it

Negative: Our only slight issue was that we would have liked a slightly later checkout time . We felt 10am was a little early on a Sunday .

Summary: Fabulous stay . Definitely be back .
