Positive: It’s like an apartment where we can do laundry in our own space and have big fridge and kitchen supplies
Negative: It’s a bit small. We needed a bit more space. The whole bathroom gets wet everytime we shower.

Positive: Location was within walking distance to Haeundae beach (which was lovely), and also to great food and amenities like Haeundae Market and Mipo. This is an excellent location if you like a diverse selection of local eateries. The apartment was also sufficiently equipped and it offered a lot of space. While the hotel practises a contactless concierge, they were very responsive via Whatsapp and gave clear instructions when needed. Housekeeping was upon request and chargeable, but this was ok with us since we preferred privacy. The WIFI was good and stable, given that we had multiple devices logged on at the same time.
Negative: While the apartment was sufficiently equipped, the interiors felt a bit old and dated. We also could not find a safe within the apartment. The nearest metro station required quite a bit of a walk, though we got by with a lot of Uber rides as it made sense for our family size of 4.
Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay.

Positive: It's a very big room. I only came with 1 friend, and we had 1 queen bed each to sleep. Spacious, very clean, there is a washer for you to wash your clothes. :) Host is quick over his WhatsApp responses. The check in / out process is very simple, since only a digital door lockpad is used. No need for physical keys / cards.
Negative: [Not a problem for me] A note that this is NOT a hotel. This is an Apartment, like a airbnb. There is no physical staff present to attend to your needs (even for early storing of your luggage before the check-in time). However, the host is quick to answer whatever queries you have. [Not a problem for me] If you are looking for daily room service, it comes at a cost (10000 won per day). [Not the host problem] A slight disappointment that my room does not have a sea view. I forgot to check for this. In winter, there is no air-con available in the room. We had a rare night where the temperature was around 16 deg C and the room was quite stuffy, which the host suggested to open the windows. The room only cooled down after midnight when the outside temperature hit <10 deg C. The fitness center seems quite poorly maintained, it seems like there are broken / missing weights. The fitness center however may not be maintained by Ciel de Mer as there are many accommodation brands in the same building. This is something which the host may not be able to fix?
