The apartment is very well furnished with locally made solid wood furniture and kitchen. The kitchen has a solid granite work surface. Classic larch wood floor. 400+ year-old exposed solid stone walls. original beamed ceilings. The north-facing bedroom has a view of the 5000 square metre Villa Palazzo Rosso courtyard garden. The apartment is both heated and air-conditioned.
The apartment is part of a restored 400+ year-old wing of Palazzo Rosso, shared facilities include a pool (seasonal), a jacuzzi, a sauna, a small gym, a large playroom with a pool table, table football, a ping pong table, and kitchen; there are bikes both normal and electric (on request), a barbeque and an animal farm. From Palazzo Rosso you are well placed to visit the whole of the Veneto region, we are an hour's drive from Venice (you can also take the train from a nearby town), 40 mins from Verona 20 minutes away from Vicenza and Padua, an hour away from Lake Garda and the dolomites, and close to many other historic towns and cities such as Bassano del Grappa, Abano Terme, Treviso, Valdobbiadene, Marostica, Montagnana, Arquá Petrarca, Possagno and many more.

Summary: Palazzo Rosso is stunning. Very well kept and the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday or base to explore the region. The flat was immaculate and extremely well catered for. Summary: Nice place, easy to get to and from. Phil and Silvy were very helpful and accommodating! (literally and figuratively). Summary: The property is well located to use as a base to visit all of the major historic sites in and around the Veneto. After a week in Venice and a couple of days chilling out on the farm we visited Padua, Verona, Vicenza, Lake Garda and a handful of smaller historic towns. We discovered that the easiest way to get to cities like Verona and Padua was by train from the local station which is about 20 minutes away by car.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Palazzo Rosso very much. It is the perfect holiday location. You can easily reach Vicenza, Verona, Padua, Venice and other lovely towns from here. You can use the bikes provided, go for a walk in the hills or just relax at the spacious pool. The apartment is nicely furnished and the kitchen is very usable. All shared spaces (the pool, the barn, the common rooms) are also very well kept and equipped with BBQ area, games, etc. Phil and Silvy are great hosts, very friendly and extremely helpful. Everything is as wonderful as the pictures are promising. We can thoroughly recommend this property to everyone. Thank you, Phil and Silvy, for a great stay!

Summary: Palazzo Rosso Apartments is a beautifully renovated service wing of the old palazzo with an arcaded ground floor terrace where the guests can sit, eat, and enjoy the company or just the view of the mountains in the background. We found our apartment impeccably clean and the fully equipped kitchen allows you to choose between a home-made meal or to explore the many restaurants in the vicinity. Our hosts, Silvy and Phil, were extremely kind and helpful and also able to advice on the multitudes of attractions in and around the area. Summary: This was our 3rd stay at Palazzo Rosso, and yet again, we had a great holiday! Hosts Phil and Silvy are just fabulous, they go out of their way to ensure you have a great experience whilst based with them! Excellent suggestions of where to visit, the daily fresh eggs and grapes and the best wine cellar this side of Padova! As well as revisiting some wonderful places, we also found lots of new and interesting places. As ever, would recommend to anyone who is thinking of visiting the Vicenza, Venice, Veneto area.

Summary: Great place to stay. Good sized apartment, clean and well furnished. Hosts are great - full of tips and advice. Location is great for touring Veneto. Within an hour you have got Venice, Verona, Lake Garda and the mountains. Also Vicenza is a hidden gem. Palazzo Rosso is also brilliant if you just want to relax with good sized pool. Great to eat out on the terrace at night. Use of BBQ was a bonus. You do need a car.

Summary: My family stayed at Plazzo Rosso for a week in September 2014. The farm was relaxed and quiet. Perfect for a peaceful getaway. The outdoor pool was lovely to relax by and the courtyard outside the apartments was great for chilling out after a days sight seeing. Silvy and Phil were both friendly and helpful and made us feel really welcome. The apartment was comfortable for the four of us and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend Plazzo Rosso, we had a great time staying here.
