The apartment is very well furnished with locally made solid wood furniture and kitchen. The kitchen has a solid granite work surface. Classic terracotta tiled floor. 400+ year-old exposed solid stone walls. original beamed ceilings. The bedroom has a view of the 5000 square metre Villa Palazzo Rosso courtyard garden. The apartment is both heated and air-conditioned.
The apartment is part of a restored 400+ year-old wing of Palazzo Rosso, shared facilities include a pool (seasonal), a jacuzzi, a sauna, a small gym, a large playroom with a pool table, table football, a ping pong table, and kitchen; there are bikes both normal and electric (on request), a barbeque and an animal farm. From Palazzo Rosso you are well placed to visit the whole of the Veneto region, we are an hour's drive from Venice (you can also take the train from a nearby town), 40 mins from Verona 20 minutes away from Vicenza and Padua, an hour away from Lake Garda and the dolomites, and close to many other historic towns and cities such as Bassano del Grappa, Abano Terme, Treviso, Valdobbiadene, Marostica, Montagnana, Arquá Petrarca, Possagno and many more.

Summary: Lovely, relaxing setting, but close to so many things to see and do. Phil and Silvy are consummate hosts, and made us feel very welcome. It was lovely to come ‘home’ to the farm every evening, have a swim, relax for a while, maybe give the ponies some carrots, then go to one of the many good restaurants near by. We are already ‘plotting’ to return in 2019!

Summary: This was our third time at Palazzo Rosso and once again we really enjoyed our holiday. The area has so much to see that we arebstill finding new places to visit and it's so nice to be able to use the apartment as a base for visiting the various towns and cities nearby including Padua, Venice, Verona and Vicenza. We cycled in to Vicenza twice using the farms cycles and the excellent (and flat) off road cycle track which runs from the farm into the city. The new electric bikes are a great addition for cycling the wine trail and up into the berici hills. Plenty of restaurants close by from inexpensive trattoria, pizza and lunch stops to more expensive restaurants. Well done again!

Summary: We loved our stay despite being the only visitors in the off season. The hosts were so welcoming, friendly and helpful - we particularly enjoyed cycling into Vicenza and fresh eggs every morning! Would certainly recommend Palazzo Rossa.

Summary: We cannot say enough about Phil & Sylvie. They were outstanding hosts. Their place is spot on with the post & delivers exactly what they promise. It is a fun-filled family place which has been in their family for generations. It is an upscale agriturismo which is perfect for families. They REALLY enjoy their guest & helping them enjoy the area with so many helpful suggestions. Phil even helped us get a flat tire changed and repaired at a local gas station - that is the above and beyond they showed at all turns of our trip! We HIGHLY recommend their place and can't thank them enough!

Summary: After staying with our family during the summer last year my husband and I decided to have a week's break at Palazzo Rosso on our own in May. We stayed in apt. 2 which suited our needs as a couple perfectly. Apartment was well decorated and equipped with all you need, including for the preparation of basic but tasty meals. Phil and Sylvy again were fabulous hosts, great for recommendations, a chat and helping us with our poor Italian. We spent a day cycling around the local area on the palazzo's bikes, using the brilliant cycle tracks and were able to explore areas which are easily missed if you never venture off the main roads in car. The Palazzo is well situated for sightseeing and culture and we visited Verona, Venice and Murano, all within an hour or so of the villa. We also managed to hike the 1500+ steps up to santuaria De la corona at brentino just outside of Verona. A hard trek but worth it when you reach the top. Another must is Camisano Sunday market where you can stock up on friuts and veg, clothes, shoes and anything else including gifts and souvenirs. Evenings were spent either at the good local restaurants (which all accommodate families and more particular eaters, and they are pretty inexpensive) or eating fresh veggies and bread on the terrace followed by a game or 3 of pool in the barn and 1 or 3 glasses of wine 😉 We still feel like we have lots to explore in the area and the Palazzo is such a good base for doing so. Summary: Apartment on a beautiful refurbished farm, well equipped with all the comforts of home plus more. Refreshing pool and fantastic games room. Bikes were very handy with very safe bike tracks close by that went on for miles & miles. Silly & Phil are the perfect hosts with a wealth of information of the surrounding location, great restaurants plus more!!!! Our favourite restaurant was up the hill, sorry forget the name but Silvy will let you know!! We ate in a cave, very different and amazing food ( bonus was there was an English menu, just ask) pretty much all the restaurants that Silvy recommended were fab also the local Pizza in Longare! Local wines were also great my favourite was 'Livium'!!!! All in all a fantastic holiday and can't wait to return, almost forgot about the animals especially the 3 friendly dogs made me feel at home ☺️

Summary: 10 days stay in September 2016. Beautiful setting, very relaxing,very hospitable hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble. Lovely swimming pool and surround, with jacuzzi in pool.

Summary: What a stunning place. I cannot fault it. We stayed with our 5 month old and were made to feel so welcome. The building is stunning. The apartments well equipped and Silvie and Phil are perfect hosts - on hand but not overbearing - Very friendly and did everything to ensure our stay was comfortable and happy. We stayed in apartment 2 and loved having direct access to the covered barn area where we could bbq each evening and enjoy a glass of vino whilst the moon rose over the farm fields. The walls of the farm building are so thick that our little one heard nothing inside or out and slept really well. Ideally placed for day trips to stunning Verona, Venice and Vincenza. I almost wanted to keep this gem a secret, but Silvie and Phil deserve to get a rave review for their stunning home. I am sure we will be back!

Summary: A comfortable ground floor flat with easy access, well-equipped kitchen and very large fridge - essential - plus free use of laundry facilities all made for a very pleasant stay. The best part though is the input by Phil and Sylvie - their guidebook is detailed and they back it up with a wealth of local knowledge which makes spending time in this lovely part of Italy a real joy. I would warmly recommend Palazzo Rosso to anyone with a love of history, culture beautiful countryside and architecture, as well as great local food and wine.
