Positive: The European-style architecture blends perfectly with the scenery of the nearby Qingjing Farm. The host family was friendly and proactively introduced nearby attractions and hidden gems. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with convenient storage cabinets. The balcony outside the room was a great place to chat and enjoyed the mountain views. The modern bathroom was bright and airy, and the breakfast was delicious and nutritious.

Positive: Loved the property and the hospitality at Vienna Pleasance. Lin and his family who were running the stay were extremely kind and sweet. Our room was upgraded to a different one with an even better view of the mountains. The rooms are very wooden and give a very cozy cottage like feeling. The rooms were supplied with heaters and the beds had electric blankets. The japanese toilet was the best part because it was extremely cold when we stayed in end of december. There is hot running water and also a fridge in the room. Direct sunlight and beautiful mountain views with rainbow spotting in the evening after it rained. Lin’s native language is not english but he was super kind to try and communicate with us in english and book day trips for us and provide us amazing maps and food recommendations.

Negative: The in house restaurant was not completely functional because of being short staffed. Hearty breakfast provided. However, Lin helped us by ordering takeaway delivery from nearby food joints and the food came hot and flavourful.

Positive: Good location and great views. The staffs and their pets are super friendly as well! Would love to stay here again the next time I visit Cingjing.

Negative: The soundproofing isn’t very strong, so you may hear some noise from other rooms when sleeping.

Positive: Convenient location, with a 7-11 store nearby. Wooden cottage with an unblocked Mountain View, great for sun rise and sun set viewing. Good breakfast and friendly host.

Negative: Toilet floor tiles are abit too slippery. Not ideal for elderly and young children.

Negative: Wifi was basically non-existent for our room - a bit unfortunate as I happened to need it on those days. The second room had it though.

Positive: Upon entrance, the place makes you feel relaxed. The room is clean and the Japanese toilet is a must because there's a lot of good food around the area (hahaha). The cottage is 3-5 minutes walk to Swiss Garden and the reception will help you book tables for the restaurants should you choose to eat at those places. The cleanliness and amenities of the room were excellent. There were rubber slippers that were very comfortable to wear and the fridge was definitely useful since we bought chocolates at Cona's. The free breakfast was very healthy and heavy! If Taiwan's slogan was "Heart of Asia" I guess the heart of our stay was Mr. Ling. Mr. Ling was very generous in sharing information of the bus schedules and business hours of the tourist attractions. We missed our bus going to Cingjing Farm and Mr. Ling drove us to Cingjing Farm - his gesture was definitely something our family will not forget. He keeps on saying his English is not good but we do think it's good. His services and hospitality are things that we miss in Taiwan. With such services and amenities, we will definitely be back.
