Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Cinnamonhouse Villa, incredibly peaceful and quiet. It’s about 1 hour 15 minutes from the airport and was a perfect place to rest and recoup before our onward travel. The house itself is beautifully designed with an open-plan layout that feels both stylish and homely. The main house has one double bedroom with an en suite bathroom (the other bedroom that is kept for the owners, meaning there was a lot of privacy and space for us when we were there). There is also a separate cottage a short distance from the main house that can be booked, and you have the option to book the entire property for full privacy. The highlight has to be the gorgeous pool overlooking the paddy fields, often dotted with cows — such a calming view. The property is surrounded by forest and even has spices growing in the garden, which adds to the whole experience. The staff were very warm and accommodating, breakfasts delicious, and they prepared a delicious lunch for us on request (including BBQ by the pool!). Tea and coffee were always available, along with pool towels, and there’s table tennis if you feel like doing something active. More than anything, this is a place to truly relax, unwind, and soak in the calmness of the surroundings. We absolutely loved it and would definitely come back.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Cinnamonhouse Villa. It is the perfect place for a quiet getaway, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Unfortunately, we only had time to stay one night. The infinity pool is stunning, with beautiful views overlooking the surrounding paddy fields. The food is delicious—fresh, home-cooked, and full of flavor. Most of all, it’s a place where you truly feel at home.
