Summary: Very peaceful. Great place to stay. No issues with anything, was as advertised. Surrounding areas were beautiful. Traveling around was easy. Check in was painless. Homeowner laid all the info out prior to arrival which was helpful. Certainly would recommend to those looking for a break from their everyday lives to get a breath of fresh air. Thank you!

Summary: We had a great stay. The property was beautiful and the house so picturesque. My children loved the large yard and playing on the swing set, on the large front porch and the sandbox. The house is charming and the kitchen is very well stocked. I was so excited there was a pizza pan after purchasing a flimsy premade pizza! It was a good location only 30 mins from Strasburg Railroad and Cherry Crest Farm. We had a great time stopping at local food stands to get fresh fruit and veggies. The only polish was we switched from the master bed because the one side of the bed drooped and my husband was unable to get comfortable. Luckily there were only four of us so plenty of rooms to choose from. Thank you for having us and we hope to be able to visit again!

Summary: The place does not worth the price we paid. We stayed during the winter, and we hardly used the outside space. The house is clean, and the host is a great communicator, but we stayed in many vacation houses throughout the years, which cost much less and had better amenities. And I am not talking about fancy items. For the price - I would expect the host to provide more than three rolls of the cheapest toilet paper; That the kitchen would have a tea kettle, a decent size baking pan, and soup bowls. The mattresses are old and uncomfortable. It was making sounds with every little move. It is about time to replace them. We couldn't sleep well - so what is the point of having a vacation if you can't rest? It was not a horrible experience by any means. I just feel that it is not a good value for the money we paid. We might have a different perspective if it was nice and warm out, and the kids could spend more time on the fantastic grounds.
