Summary: The location is great but the rooms are a bit tired. I wonder if as a person that has booked through hotels.com, we are issued the rooms that are bit less enticing. Comfortable enough but they don't look quite as enticing as the photos suggest. They also got our booking wrong. We had six rooms booked - one of which was a twin and the rest were kings. Unfortunately, they got it the other way around and made five of them twins. They did then change them all but it was inconvenient and time-consuming when we arrived which was quite late. And they seemed to think that we had gotten it wrong and asked for the wrong thing - which we didn't. All of us had followed their pre-check-in instructions, which they sent us via email. Not sure what the point of the pre-check in was for - it made no difference when we arrived. These all had the type of room we were booked in for. We also had to wait at the door for a while before anyone let us in. Arriving after hours and nobody responded for quite some time - we were beginning to wonder if we were going to get in at all.

Summary: Good location. The main photo of the hotel in the image shows the hotel before another building went right next door so many of the rooms will not have a view. Had all sorts of issues with the checkin process. The reception staff did not understand anything about the hotels.com/Expedia gold offer they marketed, and didn't believe me. Spent ages speaking to the counter, and the marketing/reservations team need to communicate better with the reception staff- starting with some better training. Finally got to a room and the Aircon shorted turning on and off again. A handyman turned up to clean the switch saying it's a common problem in this hotel but now should be ok. Then I returned to the room later on and the same problem. Spoke to reception and got moved to a new room. The apartments are nice with good kitchen the real issue here is the poor reception with poor training. Lot of room for improvement here.
