Summary: We felt completely at home during our extended stay. We are building a new home, sold our house immediately thus needing a short term rental. The villa met all our needs from kitchen, living and bedroom area. Our host Mary Ann addressed our questions promptly, responded to any issues we encountered and provided us with a temporary home.

Summary: Enjoyed our stay at what we called Our Villa. Upon arriving we loved the country setting and the feeling of being out of the fast pace of life. The villa is inviting and upon entering, you feel at home. Extremely clean, the open concept of the living room and kitchen was inviting, allowing us to spend time together. We were surprised by the gifts left by Mary Ann, which were greatly appreciated. The kitchen was fully stocked and considering the size, we were able to make 3 large salads for our granddaughters graduation party which we were in town for. The bed and pillows were inviting after a long days with our family. My husband loved getting up every morning and going outside and walking around. The pond is peaceful and watching the ducks were fun as well. Oh, and we must not forget Harley, I don't know who was more excited to see each other, my husband or Harley (the puppy) of Mary Ann. Any concerns we had were addressed and honestly there were really was nothing. There is no doubt I would highly recommend this Villa to anyone traveling in this vicinity. It is worth staying a couple of nights to escape and enjoy the country side and a respite before traveling on or just a short get away. Even though I continue to mention the country, you are not far from all the conveniences one is use too. From small towns, restaurants, groceries and New Orleans ( yes, a ride but we did it twice), the Sunset Villa was a relaxing and peaceful get away. Most importantly we were at home while visiting our Son and family. Thank you,

Summary: I enjoyed every minute of my stay! Upon my arrival, I was welcomed with a bottle of wine, French cookies, and some candy left on the counter by the owner. The villa was very clean and well furnished! I really enjoyed the quietness and being out of the city. Mrs. Mary Ann and her husband were very friendly and helpful with suggesting places to eat. I was even allowed to pick some lemons from the lemon tree just outside my door. I give this property an A+ with absolutely NO complaints. I will stay here again in the near future. Jimmy

Summary: We enjoyed the country atmosphere of this place and yet it was close to everything we wanted to see or visit. The apartment was set up well for out of town guests and had many extras that are not usually available for a stay like this. The owners were very nice and gracious offering information about local things to do and see that we might not have known about without being told. I would recommend this villa for anyone who enjoys doing things, but prefers a country setting to relax. Loved it and enjoyed our stay very much.
