Positive: I appreciate the prompt responses to all the online queries I logged. When we arrived at the apartment, we went to the entrance on Northfield Rd (as instructed) which did not enable us to get access using the instructions for the back entrance from the car park. This was a temporary problem though, as my questions were answered immediately. Staff responses were efficient and helpful.
Negative: It would really improve the stay of guests if the following matters could be addressed: 1. Hand towels and a bathmat should be included and 4 quality pillows with pillow slips. More hangers in the cupboard would be great. There is an odd number of bowls and mugs and no vegetable knife in the kitchen. The bin needs a lid to make it more hygienic. The ironing board could not be used as it did not have a cover. The communal door on floor 1 cannot close properly which causes the door to bang loudly every time someone enters or leaves: the door is too swollen to close quietly. 2. The cleanliness of the outside of the property leaves much to be desired; run down furniture, weeds and cigarette butts everywhere. It looks very run down and is not welcoming. 3. Instructions should be displayed openly in the apartment to assist guests on what to do in case of an emergency, i.e. a fire alarm went off early Sunday morning. There were no instructions how to evacuate and where to meet. Other occupants informed us that this happens often. The firemen who came out in response to our call said that they would let you know about the faulty alarm.
Summary: Our Worcester trip was enjoyable, but unfortunately, we expected more from a stay at City Lodge.

Negative: The settee arm wasn’t attached for one . There was no cloth or sponge to was pots . Were normally there is . Flat 3 was very dirty compared to the other ones in city lodge I’ve stopped in.

Negative: Quality of the furniture, quality of main door lock, fire door didn't fit well. Furniture made the rooms rather cramped. Kitchen equipment was ok but could have used some improvements. Wardrobe leant at an alarming angle.

Positive: The accommodation is a short walk from the City Centre and railway station. We picked it because it has parking. Previous visitors said it wasn’t clean but we found it to be spotless.
