Classic Jan Juc 70s beach shack which has been freshened up and refurbished inside. One block from the beach, backing onto Jan Jun Creek reserve, this holiday home has a modern kitchen, dishwasher, renovated bathroom, modern drapes, split system air conditioning and heating, NBN wifi, pod machine, air fryer, sandwich maker, Smart TV with access to Prime and Paramount, as well as a large deck with BBQ, large outdoor dining table and an outdoor lounge suite looking out onto a large backyard backing onto a reserve (yes, I know, we mentioned that) with bike path. 3 bedrooms - 4X3m, 3X3m and 3X3m, with BIRs and sleeping 5 comfortably with Queen, Double and 2 singles. And yes, it is pet friendly.

Summary: Our family with two young kids had a good stay here, combining some beach time with visiting friends in Geelong. House has 3BR, modern kitchen. There's Aircon in the lounge but not bedrooms, and a washing machine (no dryer but we just used the big back deck). The backyard opens onto a Greenway path, 5 mins walk one way goes to a footy oval and a big playground, 15 mins walk the other way goes to a smaller playground and main Jan Juc beach. You can also walk 5-6 mins to a closer beach that's not patrolled. There's a Coles 5 min drive away, and a fish and chips, pizza place, pub, cafe and restaurant 5 min walk away. We found Jan Juc beach a little bit rough for the kids swimming but good for sandplay but drove 5 mins to Torquay surf beach and that was great. We also visited the Waurn Ponds swim center on a rainy day which has indoor waterslides and took the kids to MoPA children's museum which was great. Host communication was excellent and overall this stay was great family value.

Summary: Great spot for a getaway. No fuss house with everything we needed. Unable to respond to Andrew via stayz system and report on local floods - we were fine!

Summary: Excellent location in a lovely forest and parkland setting. Comfortable house with most amenities. Could do with an awning on the deck to protect from the afternoon sun.

Summary: Great Property, host communication was great. I think we were the first to stay in a while, the house wasn't as clean as I would expect a rental to be, but overall the location was great and ammenities were all there

Summary: The backyard was amazing, we had our dogs there and they also had an amazing time! We had all the amenities we needed to make out stay enjoyable and Andrew’s communication was great.
