This charming 3 bedroom plus loft, 1.5 bathroom A Frame home is conveniently located near Alpine Meadows & Squaw Valley, and just 5 minutes to the lake and transit center.

The home comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests and is equipped with all the basic necessities for a stress-free stay. You will enjoy the big back yard surrounded by gorgeous scenery, which can be accessed from two of the bedrooms and provides patio furniture for spending time outdoors. A cozy living room offers plenty of comfortable seating and a flat screen TV with cable. There is also a lounging area in a loft, which houses two twin sized beds and a recliner. Wireless internet is available for guest use, and the home is pet-friendly. This unique home is at the height of Lake Tahoe charm!

Summary: The house has a great location but is needs of a number of repairs and was not very clean. I notified the rental company since several were safety issues, but receive little response. If the safety issues are addressed and the home was generally better cared for and cleaner, I would rate the home higher. As an A-frame, it's good to know ahead of time that the house can get hot in the summer since there is no A/C, but there are no windows to open in most rooms due to the house style. Sliding glass doors can be opened but we didnt want to leave them open while sleeping. Also good to note that the stairs are very steep and might not be ideal for young children or eldery adults.

Summary: The location was great. With a little investment the property could be great. Cheap improvements and only local channels on the cable was a little disappointing. Overall a great spot

Summary: House was clean and we'll maintained. Just a couple of things would have made our stay a bit better. All the beds were comfy, except the twin beds. They felt like fabric over springs. The main sliding door needs a screen and a few hooks in the bathroom would be nice. Glad there was a step stool in the closet so I could reach the knobs on the kitchen cabinets. All in all we had a very nice stay.

Summary: I thought the bed I slept on was comfortable and I liked that the bedrooms had sliding doors so you could enjoy fresh air.I didn't like that I'm being charged 180 dollars for cleaning and the house wasn't clean. The bed had spiders in them, finger prints and dust everywhere, and spiderwebs. The neighbor said no one had been there in months.I also didn't like that I wasn't told that there was no air conditioning until the day before my check in.Any time someone walked around upstairs, you heard every little creek, even when someone turned over in bed.
