Summary: Our family rented this house over the Thanksgiving holiday. The bedrooms were perfect for our needs, and the bathroom plus extra powder room in the basement worked well. The kitchen was nice to cook in and all appliances were in good condition. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. I went on a run one day and a walk a different day. Neighbors were cheery and friendly. We were very comfortable and would definitely consider staying again. Only downside subpar communication from the property manager. There was no welcome message sent within 1-2 days of our trip, and I am accustomed to with many other rentals. Trying to check in the first night was a struggle because the key code in the app turned out to be inaccurate. We had to call the host/manager to receive the key code over the phone. I then asked two other questions via the messenger in the VRBO app and never received responses. Luckily the house is in nice shape and there were no emergencies, but I would hope for a more responsive host. The manager stated she has 3 other properties so she was likely busy during the holiday week.

Summary: Perfect property for our family vacation as great central location for all the things we wanted to see/do. Safe and quiet street, huge backyard, clean, comfortable. Enjoyed it very much and would stay there again.

Summary: We had an excellent stay in this cool older house. Laura was very helpful and responsive resolving an initial mix-up with the entry code and after that we had no problems whatsoever. Great location for activities in Detroit or Grosse Pointe, very quiet neighborhood.

Summary: Came into Detroit for a conference and stayed a few extra days with my father to see Detroit and nearby Michigan. Glad I chose to stay out of Detroit. Some neighborhoods are hit or miss. This one hits. Safe, diverse, quiet, clean. The place is pretty good. Had some issues with the keyless entry but the owner was very responsive and helped remote into the entry to get us inside. The house has character and functioning utilities/amenities. Michigan is a …unique place. And, if I was traveling for work again to the area, I would totally stay here again!
