This 765 square foot upstairs apartment was built a little over a year and a half ago, is very clean, new and professionally built. Includes a full kitchen with large sink, full oven/range, microwave and full refrigerator. All furniture is brand new. Downstairs is the single car garage and utility room with washer and dryer. Located on the north east side of Bend it is 10 minutes from downtown and the Old Mill District. Jump on the parkway 2 minutes away and you can get anywhere in Bend quickly. Mountain lakes and Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort are a 30-20 minute drive.

Summary: The apartment was impeccable and nicely equipped with everything we needed. Very nice touches with delicious Italian sparkling water, a fresh bottle of olive oil and luxurious towels. The location is very convenient to get anywhere in Bend easily. Kevin was very polite, responsive and unobtrusive. Very reaosonably priced.

Summary: It was the perfect place for us after 20 hours of flying and a hectic week in SF. It was quiet and clean and my first thought was that the photos Kevin put on the Vrbo page did not do the place justice. It's a corner unit and has lots of natural lighting which did not show up in the photos on Vrbo. It is just off the Highway from Redmond so was easy to get to. It was also 10 mins to every place we wanted to go to. There is a shopping mall close by - AT & T, Dick's Sports, Trader Joe's, Target, Panda Express, Chickfila, Cipotle, and other restuarants so getting supplies and quick meals was not a problem. We had no problem checking in and out. It's a corner apartment with a private garage. It takes 10 mins to Downtown. Points to note, it is very quiet and in the night roads are pitch dark. Also saw deer a couple of times. Did'nt bother us as we stayed home most nights. There is a railway track that runs across from the house and you hear the occasional train passing by in the day - again was not a problem for us. If you closed the windows, the sound is faint. There is a bed in the room and the couch pulls out into a bed too so was perfect for us. The kitchen has all the basics for cooking a meal in terms of utensils - we only made breakfast or heated up food so it was fine for us. We recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet place to rest and relax. It was too cold to sit out on the balcony but would be nice when the weather warms up. Kevin and family stay next door but respected our privacy. It was a plus having them close. Hope to stay here again next time I am in Bend. M

Summary: The photos on the Vrbo page did not do justice to the place. We arrived to a bright apartment with a lot of natural light. Everything was clean and minimalist (my preference). The floors were wood and good for us as we have allergies. Everything was almost brand new. The bedroom and attached bathroom were spacious. The sofa pulls out into a bed if needed. The apartment is on the second floor above the garage and has light coming in from all four sides. There is a little balcony for you to sit out and enjoy the view or the stars at night. The kitchen has all the basics to prepare a simple breakfast or meal. The washer and dryer is on the ground floor. You park your car in the garage which has access to the stairs leading up to the apartment. It truly was a haven for us as we had been travelling for more than a week and were really looking for some peace and quiet as we were still working remote. You would need a car as this is a residential area off the highway and about 10+ mins to Downtown. There is a railway that runs across the road some ways away with the occasional freight train running by. The sound did not bother us at all. Otherwise it is a super quiet area both in the day and night. The area is pitch dark at night though and I encountered a deer once. If we were not travelling out of Bend several times this month we are here, I would have booked it for the month. It is very close to the airport and really only 10 minutes away from most of where we wanted to go daily. We had no problem with wifi which was important as we were on Zoom a lot. Kevin and family live next door, 3 garages away. They were very respectful of our privacy. It was good knowing they were near in case we had any problems (we did not have any:)) There is a shopping center less than 5 mins away where there is AT & T, Dick's, Supermarkets, Restaurants and Clothing stores. We would highly recommend Kevin's place if you have a car and prefer to return to quiet after exploring all that Bend has to offer. M
