2 Bedroom Cottage in Bass River, Yarmouth

Summer rentals are Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday. This is a cozy and charming 2 bedroom Cape Cod cottage located mid-Cape, in the highly desirable South Yarmouth area. It is the perfect location to enjoy all the Cape has to offer. Our cottage is super clean and has a full kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, high speed internet/wifi/cable (Netflix too), parking for 2 cars, a private backyard and a large wrap around deck. We also have a grill, an outdoor shower and a fire pit. The neighborhood is quiet and about 1/3 of a mile from Nantucket Sound beaches (warmest waters on the Cape)! We are very close to many family centered activities, shopping areas, marinas, fishing, boat tours, restaurants, pubs, golf, entertainment and ferry ports but tucked away in a residential area.
This is a great year round home for vacationing, a business trip or for a romantic weekend get away! We do have a 1 week minimum stay during summer months. This location provides you with easy access to all the Cape has to offer, no matter the season. The cottage is also minutes to the Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket ferries. This is a quiet, private space for you and your party to enjoy. We would love for you to enjoy your precious free time at our "home away from home".

Guest Access
This is a whole property rental. No owner or other guests reside on the property to interrupt your stay. There is a lockbox on the property and we will send you the access code a few days before you arrive.
Interaction with guests
We will leave you alone unless you have a question for us. On occasion someone may come to mow the lawn or pick up the trash from the backyard but we will let you know in advance.
Other things to note
We’ve vacationed on the Cape every summer since childhood and highly recommend a cottage over the majority of other options on the Cape. It's far more private, comfortable, peaceful and enjoyable.
We just purchased this cottage in January 2018 but you can check out the reviews from the guest of the previous owners (Dave and Tiz) if you look up Rental 712969. So far this year we have re-sided the cottage, repaired the fences and deck, built a new outdoor shower enclosure and replaced the majority of the furniture and furnishings inside.
The Neighborhood
Our home is located in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, United States. We are in a quiet neighborhood of cottages by the beaches on the south coast of the Cape, yet close to everything you will need. There are many amenities close by so anything you need or desire is conveniently within reach, and typically within walking distance.
Getting Around
While you can walk to many places keep in mind our spring/summer can be very hot and winter can be pretty cold. You could also experience a tropical ten minute downpour during the summer months. For those reasons we recommend a vehicle or bicycles (lots of rental places close by). There is also in town bus service available. Hyannis is only a few miles away.

Summary: The cottage came just as described. It was convenient, impeccably clean, well maintained, and completely stocked with probably everything one would need for their Cape Cod vacation. The backyard, outdoor shower and firepit were private and perfect for enjoying the outdoors. The hosts were gracious and communication was almost instantaneous. In our early communication, I had mentioned that my wife and I's 41st Anniversary would happen during our stay. Thank you again Jenn and Sean for the Anniversary recognition surprise. Please note that the cottage is on the cozy size. It would still be perfect for 4 people and maybe an additional little one. We would definitely stay again if we find our selves in Cape Cod.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at The Squeeze Inn. Even before our arrival, the owner, Jenn, thought to message me to ask if my kids are boys or girls so she could put sheets on the twin beds that they'd enjoy. My daughter loved the mermaid sheets! The cottage was spotless when we arrived and accessing the key, etc., was seamless. Jenn checked in during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The cottage is very nicely decorated and they've thought to stock with everything you could need. The yard was awesome to have. There's a small deck with a picnic table/umbrella and a firepit in the yard itself with Adirondack chairs surrounding it. Our kids loved making smores over the fire. They also have a shed with just about everything you could need to enjoy the yard and beach. The outdoor shower was awesome, especially with sand-covered kids coming back from the beach. You can't beat the location either. Super close to stores, restaurants, entertainment (mini-golf, go-karts, etc.) and only a 3-minute drive to Bass River Beach, which was beautiful. We saw plenty of people walking to the beach, so that's doable, too. We were just lazy. :-) Despite being so centrally located, it's a very quiet neighborhood with very little traffic. Getting everywhere just felt very easy. We'll definitely choose The Squeeze Inn if we find ourselves back in South Yarmouth.

Summary: House was perfect for the three of us! Location made it easy to quickly access different towns, beaches and restaurants. Neighborhood was quiet. Back yard was fenced in and nice for the little to run around in.

Summary: I don't know personally Sean and Jenn, but I'm sure they are great people. They seem to love their house and seem to enjoy to share it with guests. Great location with lots of items for the beach (everything you would need). Great communication with Jenn, always available if you need anything. Would rate 6 stars if possible. Would rent again anytime.

Summary: We had a wonderful time at this cottage in South Yarmouth. We had never been to the Cape Cod area and wanted something conveniently located so we could drive to different areas. This little cottage fit the bill. One day we drove to Provincetown, one day to Martha's Vineyard and one day just walked on the beach. This cottage had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was well furnished, the bedrooms were comfy and the backyard was private and lovely. Jenn was very attentive to our needs. She checked on us by text occasionally to see if we needed anything and answered any questions promptly. We would definitely consider this little gem again. Thanks so much Jenn

Summary: Our visit to south Yarmouth was amazing! The SqueezeInn cottage was absolutely adorable, it was extremely clean and it had all the little things needed for a wonderful cozy stay!!! Not only was the cottage perfect but the outside patio and backyard was amazing! We had direct communication with Jenn the owner with any questions or needs to be addressed. She was absolutely amazing and so friendly. We could not say enough good things about Jenn and Sean’s beautiful cottage !!! We would absolutely recommend anyone coming into the South Yarmouth area to stay at the SqueezeInn Cottage! They have a wonderful guest book with all other renters experiences staying at the cottage and places to go to eat, shopping, museums, beaches ( which is only 3 minutes away ) mini golf etc etc ! Great points of interest to help with your vacation stay! We will be going back next year for sure!!! Thanks again to Jenn & Sean for 5 stars on providing such a wonderful experience!!!
