Lakefront private family cottage surrounded by beautiful trees overlooking sparkling Lake Huron with 3 bedrooms, attached sun porch and beach
Stairs lead to a deck partway down, perfect for enjoying dinner or evening cocktails while watching the sunset or watch the stunning sunset from the back deck. Please note stairs down to the water is not guaranteed due to erosion, we our best to ensure they are in. There is a community staircase to the lake within 2 minutes. This cottage is not suitable for young kids or anyone with accessibility issues as the bluff is steep.
The cottage is conveniently located 5 minutes north of Grand Bend, one of Ontario’s best beach towns and home to the world’s best sunset, according to National Geographic.
Please note owner has a separate rental agreement to be completed

Summary: This is a nice easy drive from Toronto, we arrived late Sunday and immediately felt at home. The cottage is updated and clean, with three bedrooms and a full kitchen. We barbecued a couple of nights and ate dinner watching the lake … so peaceful. There’s lots of room, we had a couple of rainy days and just lazed around and read, 4 adults no problem. Wonderful week!

Summary: Great getaway place. Extremely private and quiet. It’s well equipped and comfortable. As others have said the stairway is steep and wobbly but doable if you’re able. My only suggestion would be some brighter lamps for evening reading, I had to sit at the kitchen table to read. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and would heartily recommend it.

Summary: The cottage was exactly as described, very nice place. 3 bedrooms, open concept living room, dining area and kitchen space. The view of the lake is incredible. The backyard is private and Danine was very responsive and timely to all questions. The only down side worth mentioning for us was that the private stairs for the beach access were closed/locked and so we needed to use the community stairs, which were definitely in need of maintenance and a bit sketchy for the kids and those with accessibility issues. Overall we had a great time and would recommend :)

Summary: We did a cottage trip here with a old group of friends. We really enjoyed ourselves. The view of the lake was amazing and we had a lot of fun with taking our kayaks in the lake. The hosts were great and I highly recommend visiting.
