This spacious 115 m² apartment is in a quiet area. A short walk to the town center and beach, 5-10 min.

Summary: Very spacious property, extremly well equiped, left no wishes. Very friendly and helpful owner who gave us very Good Information about the ongoing Fiesta, restaurants and surroundings! Nice Little town, very Good Train connections. Even possible without a car.

Summary: The appartment has 3 bedrooms and a large kitchen-dining-livingroom. The appartment is very clean! It has everything you need in the kitchen. The house is modern, with an elevator. It is very close to the City Center. Only 5 minutes by walking. In 2 minutes walk is a big supermarket (Eroski). The only critical point is the parking situation. There is no own parking Spot. And sometimes it's tricky to find a place. San Sebastian is 30 minutes by car and Bilbao 45 minutes. But there are also a lot of little towns and very nice places to visit. Joxean is a perfect host !!!! He gives a lot of recommendations for visits. And you can reach him any time by phone /WhatsApp, in case that you need something in the appartment, or for another recommendation.

Summary: Great location for exploring the Basque Coast. Apartment is great for families...exceptionally clean with modern conveniences. Owner is responsive within minutes by phone or email, and is quite helpful with recommendations and suggestions for sightseeing, dining, etc. If we return to this area of España, we would certainly look to book this apartment again.

Summary: We spent a week at this clean spacious and well equipped apartment - 3 of us including our 10 year old daughter. We wholeheartedly recommend this place as base to explore Euskadi - its beautiful coastline, and its spectacular inland countryside. The apartment is in a quiet residential part of the town. The flat is very tastefully furnished and has a small balcony looking out across the lush Basque hillside . Joxean the owner is a lovely man- welcoming us on our arrival and always available to solve any queries or issues. He is a great guide to the area and we greatly appreciated his advice and recommendations for places to see and eat. Deba itself has lots to offer- a beach as lovely as anywhere on the coast- and a town with lots of historical interest , restaurants, cafes and shops. Its well served by public transport- taking the train to Donostia or Bilbao or any of the small towns along the coastline is easy. After a week we were left with a hope that one day we should return to unravel more of what the area has to offer.

Summary: The apartment is well appointed, comfortable and tranquil at night. Joxean is a very welcoming and helpful host who gave us lots of good advice on places and restaurants to visit--and in reality many of the other Deba restaurants had great ambiance but only basic cuisine. As a couple we enjoyed the sunny balcony off the kitchen but it is small and the terrace off the main bedroom gets no sun and has no view. Deba is not considered a tourist attraction in itself, but the locals are very friendly as is the tourist office. The town is full of life in the evenings and the large sandy beach is popular with swimmers and surfers alike. The easy to access railway has a regular service all along the coast from Bilbao to San Sebastián. All in all we had a most enjoyable holiday with plenty to see and do. We were very happy with our choice of apartment.

Summary: We really really enjoyed our 2 week stay in Joxean's flat in Deba. The flat was spacious for two of us and great that it was really cool inside even when 38 C outside. It is really well equipped for cooking and relaxing , including good wifi and things for fun on the beach. All the rooms were a good size. The small balcony off the kitchen gets great afternoon and evening sun and has a good view onto the hills. We enjoyed sitting on a couple of chairs reading. The balcony off the main bedroom is larger but doesn't get much sun - it's good for drying the washing. Joxean gave us a good welcome, helped us park the car and gave us lots of information and recommendations about the variety of things to do. There's plenty of leaflets in the flat. Generally small roads and parking can be tight in Deba in evenings and weekends when people come for the beach but where the flat is, is there are a few options. Deba is a great location, it's only 10-15 minutes walk through town to a good beach. A few minutes to the supermarket. It's five minutes to the train station where there's an hourly service to San Sebastian and Bilbao and places in between. In fact we'd say a car isn't needed! There are lots of lovely walks directly from the flat - we did a few that were circular and a few where we got a bus or train one way. The coast and hills were beautiful and particularly at low tide because of the geological flysch rocks. In Deba there are nice places to eat, not particularly touristy, a good friendly local feel. The tourists generally are those on the Camino de Santiago trail. Overall, a lovely flat with a helpful owner/host in a beautiful location and a relaxing holiday.

Summary: Positives: The apartment is well equipped with good facilities. Three nice bedrooms (2 double beds and one twin room) Kitchen has everything you need for a short stay. Location is excellent for both San Sebastian and Bilboa (and other local towns). Deba also has a nice beach New lifts in the apartment block. Negatives - (minor annoyances really) The streets around the apartment block are small (but not in a pretty way) which makes the on street parking a little tricky but generally you can find a spot. Water pressure in the shower was poor. The apartment block stairs and lobby are still being refurbished, and still needs final painting.
