Families, couples or singles, pack your suitcase! Nicely furnished and equipped, this sunny two-bedroom, second-floor vacation rental has everything you will need to enjoy a relaxing escape to the seaside. It boasts a private deck off the master bedroom with a queen bed, a bedroom with 2 twin beds, a fully stocked eat-in kitchen, free WI-FI. The full bath is accessed from the hallway between the two bedrooms. There is a full tub with grab bar, hand-held shower head, and plenty of storage. In addition to a full living room with a flat-screened Smart TV, there is a three-season porch with a twin-sized futon for extra sleeping. All linens are provided, including 6 beach towels. Equipped with many thoughtful conveniences, your unit also has a private entrance and off- street parking for two vehicles.
Located in the Easton's Point section of Middletown adjacent to St. George's School, First (Easton's) and Second (Sachuest) beaches are both a little less than a mile for those who wish to walk. Sachuest Beach at Surfers End features some of the best surfing in Rhode Island. Come back from the beach after a glorious day in the sun and enjoy refreshments on the deck off the master bedroom, or relax in the yard and grill a steak!
A perfect location for exploring historic Newport year 'round! Besides close proximity to beaches, explore the outdoors and walk the many trails throughout Aquidneck Island - Norman Bird Sanctuary (at least 3 including Hanging Rock Trail), Sachuest Point, Aquidneck Land Trust with its 12 miles of public nature trails, to name a few! Walk the famous Newport Cliff Walk, about a mile away. We're a short ride to Bellevue Ave., Newport Harbor and Thames Street. Play golf at one of the courses on Aquidneck Island!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay here. Barb and Ed were wonderful hosts! The house was close to everything we wanted to see. The house was well stocked with thoughtful extras and the beds were comfortable for a great nights sleep. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Summary: I signed up for the Newport marathon and made a weekend of it with my husband and pup. We made a weekend out of it. 2 nights. Friday my husband played a 9 hole golf course in Jamestown while I went to scope the marathon course, get my bib and brought my pup for a walk at a park I pondered upon. Being 1 mile from the starting line of the marathon was perfect since I just jogged there as a warm up and my husband didn’t have to find busy parking if we were to drive in for the day (we didn’t even think or know we were that close to the start line so it was a nice surprise!). The place was cozy and super accommodating. It had everything we needed. Would stay here again if I choose to run another race here!

Summary: Barb & Ed are amazing hostesses and really thought of just about everything for your stay. The VRBO was quiet, calm, and cozy. Would recommend this to families of 4 or less or 2 couples max.

Summary: This upper floor of a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood was perfect for our 3-night stay. It was very cozy with with plenty of room for 3 adults, comfy beds, full kitchen, and more. We especially loved the 2nd floor deck, from which you could smell and faintly hear the ocean, plus the beautifully landscaped gardens below. Location was ideal for access to 3+ local beaches, mansion tours, cliff walk, and great restaurants in Newport as well as within walking distance from home. We also enjoyed visiting with the hosts and their adorable dog. I only wish our stay could have been longer!

Summary: We had a beautiful birthday/Easter weekend at SE. Barbara and Ed were super welcoming hosts, the rental was immaculate and cozy. We loved our time there and will definitely return! We also loved the proximity to Salve Regina (where our daughter will be for the next 3 years) and all the classic Newport attractions. Plus we could bring our dog, who our daughter misses a lot! We also appreciated the comprehensive binder of local attractions that Barbara and Ed had for the guests. Can't wait to return! Thank you!
