Beautiful updated house with Old Charm Details. Second Floor - 2 bedroom 1 bath, perfectly positioned on Exeter Road in Hampton, easy access to all major routes, beaches and shopping on the seacoast.
Entire home has been updated inside and out, while still maintaining much of it's charm and custom details. Updated fully functional kitchen with stainless-steel appliances, washer/dryer, linens, towels and essential toiletries. Home consists of two apartments (up and down) each with their own private entrance. The only shared spaced is the off street parking on the property. There are two parking spaces available per unit.

Summary: If you’re looking for quiet, this is the place for you. However it’s not very cozy. The beds and pillows are pretty hard. There was no iron or hair dryer, the coffee maker isn’t Keurig and no coffee for the first morning wake up, also no hair dryer in the house. However the owner was very responsive when we thought the heat went out the second night we were there which is amazing! It would have been nice to have a small tv in each room but that’s not a deal breaker. Overall it was easy to find and gave us exactly what we asked for

Summary: House is in great location right by Hampton downtown area with nice coffee shops and bakery. We stayed during holidays and there were some nice decorative touches. One update that was made is the addition of a microwave so if that is something you need they have that. Having the washer dryer always helps when traveling with young kids. Would stay again!

Summary: We stayed here whilst in between properties for over 3 weeks. It had everything we needed & we could take our cat which most properties will not allow. It was comfortable & homely. Highly recommend.

Summary: While the house was really nice, we unfortunately experienced a lot of issues during our 5 day stay and the host was unresponsive with not the best attitude during the issues which put a damper on our vacation. The biggest issue was that the power went out 3 times for hours at a time (just at our house) meaning the fridge was off, wifi off, A/C units unusable etc. and when we would contact the host regarding this they wouldn’t get back to us for hours, sometimes even up to 12 hours, and when they did they were cold and unapologetic. The host phone number listed to call was completely out of service so in an emergency I’m not sure what you’d do. The reason the power would constantly go out was because there was too much draw from all of the appliances set up in the house for the capacity of the breaker - basic stuff. So that’s why it would keep happening again and again, even if we would try to only have one A/C on, not use hairdryer, etc. It is a simple fix of resetting the breaker, however the breaker is locked away in the garage and you can’t access it so it’s useless to a guest with no power, this is actually also unsafe - if there’s an emergency e.g. a fire, you need to be able access the breakers. In addition, the kitchen sink had a leak so we had to clean up a big pool from the kitchen floor. The toilet was blocked when we arrived so that had to be fixed. One bedroom has a single bed with a pull out underneath which can only bed floor level, not a double bed. I ordered a package to be delivered at the beginning of the stay and unfortunately it was majorly delayed and arrived after I had left so I messaged the host and asked if I could transfer them some money to mail the package to me, then when I followed up they let me know they had returned the package to sender - so now I’ve lost my item and the money I paid for it. I know this isn’t the hosts issue that my package was delayed, however I’ve stayed at vacation rentals before and if something was left behind or a package delayed the host is usually more than happy to help out. Overall for the high price we paid to stay here it just was not worth it, there was always a problem to fix. We’ve stayed in so many vacation rentals and never experienced such bad customer service, I think it’s just a ‘house flipper’ that owns many rentals and doesn’t seem to care about your experience as long as they get paid.

Summary: This listing was exactly as described and exactly what we were looking for. Close to lots of restaurants and the coast. I wish there had been a microwave in the kitchen, but everything else was perfect.

Summary: This was a great split home stay for three weeks. Only complaint is it is right off the main road and the cars are pretty loud. You get used to it though. Clean and cute! Would stay again.

Summary: We should our home and stayed here for a month until our next one was ready. Overall our stay was great! I would recommend an extension cord if you plan on working there as outlets are limited. We felt safe and at home while staying here. My only complaint is that whomever rents the garage under the master bedroom woke us up at 6am on several occasions. We both work late so that was a bit of a bummer, but not a big deal.
