The Lookout! A ski lover's paradise. Close to Monarch Ski Area and Salida! Hot tub! You'll love the mountain views and spectacular scenery! Disconnect and decompress in this bright, clean, beautiful cabin with vaulted ceilings. A comfortable place to prop your feet up after a long day of skiing at Monarch Mountain or mountain biking on the nearby trails. This house has the best deck with the most beautiful views of Mount Shavano!
OHVs must be trailered in and out. It is illegal to ride OHVs on Colorado County Roads in this area. Neighbors will report this to the Sheriff.
DURING WINTER MONTHS- IS IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU HAVE A FOUR WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE OR SNOW TIRES/CHAINS

~Please note, if you have mobility issues, that the living room and kitchen are on the 2nd floor- both bathrooms are on the ground floor.
All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, salt and pepper and coffee filters. Bring your own laundry detergent, paper napkins and toiletries.
Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 pm.

Summary: Great little getaway spot for some r and r. Close enouto Salida and Poncha springs to have plenty to do but far enough away to get some peace and quiet. Hot tub was fantastic, house was clean and well stocked.

Summary: The location was central to Monarch and Salida, which is where we wanted to be. The living area was great for our group of 4. Nice deck with great view of the mountains. Kitchen was well stocked. We stayed in the master bedroom and it had plenty of room and the bed was comfortable. The only negative was a strong smell of urine in the master br. Not sure if it was from the septic or a past animal. The management co was notified and they were going to address it.

Summary: The property was very comfortable and clean. The location to Monarch Ski mountain was just right. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and lots of room to gather for dinner. We enjoyed the conveniently located, clean hot tub. If we are ever in this location again, I will definitely be staying at this property.
