Positive: WE LOVE EVERY THING! We have been staying here for a few years now, and absolutely love it! We call it our second home! Its set in the most peacefull stunning location! Our little dogs get sooo excited when we pack up the car, as they know we are going HOME! Its the best place we have EVER visited hands Down!! The cottage its self is warm, cozy and inviting, cottage style yet modern bathroom and modern kitchen with everything you could need for your holiday. It has a beautiful open fireplace with roaring log fire in winter (or summer), the beds are big and soft, and there is plenty of space. The owners are wonderful, kind and very helpful, and the yorkshian people are without a doubt some of the most friendliest we have ever come across. This cottage and its Area deserve NO less than 5 stars!!! (We are back for summer and back for winter!! )Cant wait to come home!! .

Positive: Beautiful cottage on the doorstep of the Dales. We came for the 1940s weekend, and the cottage is about a 15-20 minute walk (in 40s footwear!) to the centre of the town. Easy access via the lockbox, parking only a few yards from the property at the Dales car park (with 1 parking permit). 2 spacious comfy double rooms. Lovely mix of furnishings throughout. Plenty of everything for 4 people in terms of crockery, cutlery etc, we didn't really cook so can't comment on that side of things. Can't think of one thing that we needed that we didn't have when we were there. Would defintely stay there again.
Negative: The only thing that would have been handy would be to have some small bedside tables in the smaller bedroom. The original sink is beautiful but did make it a bit difficult for our friends in that room squeezing past to go to the loo espcially at night time.
