Positive: Spacious, charming and well-furnished house in a delightful rural location with great views. We enjoyed the large kitchen and living space, comfortable beds, big garden and quiet location.
Negative: The cleanliness was not great. We found make-up smears in bathrooms, thick dust on skirtings, dead insects etc. Also we felt some of the requests to clean and tidy the property on departure were a bit excessive - eg sorting dirty laundry, putting away garden furniture, clean fridge etc. We think the owners need to spend more on cleaning services. While the house was generally well equipped, we were not provided with several basic items including bin liners, salt, shower gel, scrubbing pad to clean pans. This was particularly problematic as the house is 15 minutes drive from the nearest shop.
Summary: Spacious modern property in a beautiful location, but more attention to detail needed.

Negative: The only issue was that the rubbish piled up and was not collected as described in the compendium.

Positive: What an absolute gem in an ideal setting. For a family of 7 and a toddler it was brilliant. All one level, fenced, plenty of room inside and out.we just kept commenting on how perfect this was. Sitting on the porch enjoying the afternoon sun and views, or sitting around the huge table. Every room was so comfortable and every amenity was provided. The welcome basket was very nice too! If you want to remove yourself from the noise of the big cities (and not have to worry about parking) then make a booking.
