Negative: The A-La-Carte restaurant staff were not keen to have guests as they were poorly staffed!!!????? I spoke to the manager who was aware of the problem and said he hopes to turn this around in a month

Positive: Excellent pools. Plenty of sun beds and towels provided. The rooms were large and clean with comfy beds. The buffet breakfast was very good and the buffet dinner option was reasonably priced for a hotel (although expensive compared to eating out). The staff were at times vague with help/information however there were a few specific members that were excellent.
Negative: The outside bar area was dark and could be lit better to make it a more enjoyable evening space.
Summary: Nice place for a few days of relaxing at the end of a busy trip.

Positive: We enjoyed our stay in the hotel thanks to friendly and helpful staff. However, some things should be improved especially if it’s positioned as 5 stars hotel on booking.com. The hotel does not provide the best option for 3 adults in one room, with extra third bed it’s still not really comfy. Facilities, beddings, towels are quite old and need to be refreshed.

Positive: Really nice breakfast with a lot of options. Dinner buffet was not that good, actually we liked the breakfast better. Super tasty welcome drink.
Negative: Sea not so clean. Drinks very expensive, e.g. Lion beer was by far the most expensive we seen in Sri Lanka out of approx. 20 places we probed. Service charge added om massage! - what!? For us it was a very very slow check-in.

Positive: Good location, great free breakfast. Good view of beach Nice pool area. Rooms were fairly basic and a bit dated but otherwise clean enough.

Positive: The hotel area has everything you need for a nice holiday. Pool area is huge and there is a beautiful view to the ocean. Also the Beach just few steps to the left is very good for swimming. Right in front of the hotel the waves are too big, but you don’t need to walk far to find a nice and safety spot. The breakfast in the hotel is good, and the staff is really friendly and helpful. It made me to smile and cry a bit when we got to the hotel with our son with broken arm in the cast and he got ”get well soon” -card and a Fruit plate when we arrived 🩷 These little things matter so much to get the feeling we are welcomed.
Negative: The hotel is a bit far from the City and restaurants and it’s not the cheapest place to take a taxi. It didn’t bother when we spent only 2 nights there, but if you are staying there like two weeks, it’s good to be prepared of. Still there are nice surroundings with local settlements and it was interesting to walk there and if we had stayed more like in City center, we would not have experienced that.
