Summary: I recently stayed at the Ascott and while the people there were friendly and the shower was nicer, Fraser Place is superior in all other aspects. Friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast is a mix of Western and Chinese, the furniture, including the bed is very comfortable, which is incredibly important, as someone accustomed to softer beds than one can normally find in China.
