Newly furnished, the Cottage is completed with thoughtful amenities and all the comforts of home including brand-new beds and linens.
The Cottage is sunny year round; and each room is sunlit throughout the day. You will fall in love with a picturesque, 270-degree ocean view and experience the gentle sea breezes atop our roof deck. Our large roof deck floats uninhibitedly high above the tree line for unparalleled panoramic views. Be the first to catch a sunrise over the ocean while sipping a cup of coffee or tea. At a distance, follow the sail boats tacking in the water and spot the faint beacons from the nearby lighthouses on the horizon. In the evening, wrap yourself in your favorite blanket and watch a memorable sunset. Gaze at the stars flooding the sky as nightfall deepens.
Long Sands & Short Sands beaches and the Nubble Lighthouse are all within a short 10-minute drive. Need a break from the crowds? Take advantage of the surrounding property and enjoy a 5-minute leisurely stroll to our private pebbly beach spending some quiet time on your very own secluded ocean spot. Explore nearby intimate lake, ponds, and coves through hidden garden pathways and discover birdwatching or fishing. Ride a bike or have a brisk walk with that special someone heading towards Perkins Cove and the Marginal Way in Ogunquit to take in more breathtaking views and perhaps even a lobster roll. For more exploratory hikes, hit the trails at Chases Pond and Mt. Agamenticus, which are spectacular year-round.
Our roomy 2,600 sq. ft. Cottage boasts 70 (yes 70!) large, operable windows and sliding doors to bring in fresh air and ever-changing, colorful outdoor views to every room. Don’t blink or else you will miss a number of beautiful land birds that come to rest in our yard and the many seabirds that often cluster on the rolling ocean waves. After your outdoor activities, feel free to luxuriate in the outdoor shower. Warm and inviting, this vacation home is indoor - outdoor living at its finest.
The entry level offers two queen-sized bedrooms with a shared full bathroom, and a king-size master with en suite bathroom and walk-in shower. All bedrooms have base-board heating and brand-new, individual-temperature controlled air conditioning units. Adjoining the bedrooms, the Day Room is charming and cozy. It is a perfect place for a midday respite, puzzles & games, and reading. A new smart-TV and WiFi audio system are available for your use and entertainment. Laundry is available on site with full-size washer and dryer for your convenience.
The upper entertainment level contains a wide-open living space, a farmhouse-style dining area, a remote-controlled gas fireplace for warm ambiance in the evening, a cheerful and high-ceiling Sun Room, and a kitchen with all the essentials. Another bedroom suite with an adjoining, recently-updated full bathroom is also located on this level. The living room's sliding glass doors conveniently open onto the deck where the Weber bbq grill is waiting to be fired up.

Summary: The house is spacious and beautifully decorated. The rooftop area is fantastic. The host is very welcoming and thoughtful with lots of nice touches including a very nice welcome basket.

Summary: The house is not beachfront but enjoys an amazing rooftop patio from which we see the ocean. You do not pay beachfront price, but still enjoy the ocean. The house is really nice, clean, with many large rooms with their own AC. The mattresses are incredibly comfortable. The owner, Paul, was incredible from the arrival to the departure, always helpful and available. We strongly recommend.

Summary: Paul was an attentive and excellent host. He also left us a number of delicious local treats to enjoy while we were there. The home is lovely, beautifully decorated, spacious, clean and has truly everything you need for a wonderful vacation experience. The neighborhood is great and the views of the cove are spectacular! One of our favorite daily activities was to walk 2 minutes down our road to sit on the scenic rock beach. We would love to stay at Paul's home again!

Summary: This home exceeded all expectations for our family of 8. Our host, Paul, met us on arrival and showed us everything we needed to know about his lovely vacation home. He supplied us with a generous amount of local goodies on our arrival which we appreciated. The house was very comfortable and very nicely decorated with a Maine beach feel. Loved the kitchen which was fully stocked as were the bathrooms with all the amenities. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were great. The water view from the living area was everyone’s favorite but we spent many hours on the rooftop patio enjoying the quiet setting, the sunrise and evening views of the local Maine coast. I highly recommend this wonderful house! And thanks Paul for being there and available when we had questions. We would definitely stay again!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this property. Brian was a gracious host. The quality of the amenities in the house were great. The soaps, shampoo, towels, kitchen utensils, table settings were terrific. My favorite room was the rooftop deck overlooking the ocean.

Summary: This property was one of the best we have ever rented. Paul and his wife have thought of every little detail to make this rental amazing. Paul greeted us and showed us around the house. Everything is labeled, which was very helpful. The house was spotless and furnished beautifully. There are so many different locations in the house to sit and relax. Only complaint is that I wish we could have stayed longer. The location is also perfect secluded and quiet yet close to everything. Beds are all comfortable with very nice linens. You won’t go wrong staying here we can’t wait to go back. Thank you again.

Summary: We had an amazing Memorial Day weekend at Paul's place in Cape Neddick, Maine. Paul was a fantastic host and greeted us on our arrival with a very nice gift basket. We have rented many VRBO houses and this was by far the cleanest and best decorated. The house is in a very quiet upscale residential neighborhood with a nice yard. The place is one house removed from the Atlantic ocean and has great ocean views from the first floor living area. Downstairs has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a TV/play which was an ideal space for my daughter, son in law and 2 young grandchildren. The first floor has a bedroom and en suite bathroom which was very comfortable for us. The first floor kitchen and open area is very comfortable for lounging and meals. The kitchen is well stocked with very nice cook ware and appliances. AC is more than adequate throughout. The sun room is cooled by ocean breezes and impressive windows. We really enjoyed the ocean views and relaxing patio furniture on the roof deck. We spent all of our beach time at the Cape Neddick beach which is only a couple of minutes drive and very safe for the young kids. The York beach town area is just a very short drive from Paul's place. We look forward to a return stay at Paul's place in Cape Neddick.

Summary: Paul greeted us whem we arrived and explained all the wonderful amenities. He also gave us a generous welcome basket with a bunch of goodies. We enjoyed the lovely Rooftop Terrace and we're fortunate enough to get a glimpse of the Northern Lights. The ocean is visible from several windows as well as from the rooftop Terrace. The home is immaculate with attention to the needs of the guests. I definitely would recommend this to everyone and we will look forward to going back. He was a most gracious host. Thank you!

Summary: We can not say enough about Paul and Janet’s home. We have rented homes on VRBO for years. Never have we had a home so taken care of and furnished with everything we needed Janet met us on arrival and showed us everything we needed to know. A lovely gift basket was left for us which we enjoyed over the week Paul communicated with us during our stay to make sure everything was ok We wish all rentals could be so lovely Thank you Paul and Janet for a lovely week I must say the master bed had the most amazing mattress and I slept the best I’ve slept in a long time
