Positive: Very close to Notre Dame and metro station. A+++ Very comfortable bed. Nicolas (the host) is friendly and available. Pricing is fair and check-in and out is smooth.
Negative: The room only has two windows in a small space between the buildings. While this is not unusual in Paris, here this space is incredibly dirty and has many restaurants chimneys, which make the room smelly and super hot until the restaurants close after midnight. We stayed during august and fought late night hot temperatures for a week.
Summary: Good on colder seasons, fair price.

Positive: The location is very good, it's close to many sites, restaurants, and bars as well as metro stations and bus stops. We had no issue at all getting around the city. The bed is quite comfortable. The mini-fridge is a nice size to store. There is a laundromat nearby. Neighbors are also quiet and respectful.
Negative: Not complaints but considerations that come with old French houses that we didn't necessarily like: - Be prepared to climb steep stairs. - Neighbors can technically see into your window. - It can get warm. We did have one or two nights where it got a bit warm but we just opened the windows fully and put the provided fan closer to the bed and it was tolerable. The size of the room is a bit small. We came as a couple and sharing space was sometimes challenging.

Positive: The apartment was as described: charming, beautifully decorated, and clean. What really makes it stand out is the location: right in the heart of the Latin Quarter, with Notre-Dame, the Seine, the Louvre and so many amazing cafés, restaurants, and bakeries just steps away. The view from the room was truly Parisian and despite it being so central, the nights were peaceful and restful. I had everything I needed for a short stay, was thoughtfully provided: a small kitchen, fan, fridge, even an iron. Nicolas, the host, was very responsive, helpful, and clearly passionate about making sure guests have a great time. Check-in was easy and smooth, and the instructions were clear. If you’re looking for an authentic, well-located, and affordable place to experience Paris like a local, this is it. Cheers!

Positive: This place is really nice! I don’t need to wake up early to go to different attractions since it really locates in the center of this city. Downstairs are lots of nice food and sweets(which is really important for me). Room not that big but enough for two people, really recommend!

Positive: I really loved the decoration and location of the room. The room, although cozy, had everything we needed. My favorite part was the wooden beams on the ceiling and living above the heart of the Latin Quarter.
Negative: The ventilation of the room is not very good, often times the room became humid while we were gone. But, opening the windows helped especially when the shower was on.
Summary: This room was lovely and a memorable part of our first trip to Paris!
