Positive: We loved Coda on Half’s location. It was very close to Nationals Park and the Metro. It made it very easy to go to the museums and go sightseeing. We also loved that our family could all be together but still spread out in different bedrooms. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
Negative: The parking garage is underground the building and they have to open it up for you. Fortunately, my husband just drove around while I went inside to check in, but if I was traveling alone , it may have been a little confusing. I would recommend if traveling with one adult to call when you get close and maybe they could come out to let you in or instruct you where to temporarily park. I did appreciate the increased security though.
Summary: Coda on Half was a very comfortable and convient experience.

Positive: It was fine if you plan on going to the baseball game . And if you enjoy the smell of weed everywhere big club down the street . Not the place to stay if you live a quieter life .
Negative: Parking on the property is $65 a day seems wrong if you payed for a room .

Negative: The only thing I would recommend is better blinds in the bedrooms, to block out street light and sunlight.

Positive: Pros: Good location- one block to metro station. Well equipped- my studio apt had a fully functional kitchen, stacked washer/dryer, large bathroom. Good price via Booking.com, no-fee 1hr late check-out extension. Newer building.
Negative: Cons: Pre-arrival communication was weak - included non-response to inquiries and even a terse note saying I hadn’t completed their pre-registration, but I had and sent them verification. I received no response or apology for their terse and incorrect demands. Low on hospitality amenities - a $50 fee for early check-in - they do stash luggage at no charge until check-in time. Adults only.
