Summary: This hotel is definitely better than the one across the street, however there are somethings that need to be improved upon and it may not be worth the extra cost. 1) The staff provided replacement key cards to our room without asking for any kind of ID. This happened twice during our stay. 2) The hot water in our room (both shower and sink) was scolding hot when set to the highest temp. Small children could burn themselves. 3) There is no ventilation from the bathroom to the exterior, therefore the bathroom gets VERY humid after taking a shower. On top of that, there is a sign on the door saying NOT to leave the bathroom door open, as the humidity can set off the fire alarm. The hotel needs to create a solution for this. 4) Breakfast is served from 6am-9am Eastern Time. Holiday World doesn't open until 11am Eastern time. I assume that many of their guest are staying due to Holiday World, so it's inconvenient that breakfast ends so early. Would be better if breakfast lasted until 10am Eastern. 5) Staffing seems to be an issue right now. It took 30 minutes from the time we walked into the lobby before we got into our room. This was due to the front desk person being in the bathroom. Would be better to have 2 employees on staff in the evening. We also heard a couple of the housekeepers talking about how long they had worked that day (15 hours & 11 hours each).

Summary: The pool was dirty - both the water and the liner. It was like swimming in a pond. Four of stayed two nights - no clean towels or room tidying.

Summary: Rooms and hotel was clean. Waited over 20 minutes and only thing was a,waffle machine was out of forks. Shampoo bottle was completly 100% empty in shower. Room needed sprayed for bugs. The beds were comfortable. Ì

Summary: The room was clean enough but I didn’t love that the shower curtain was turning pink at the bottom from mildew. There was a stain in the carpet in the middle of our room. I can overlook both of those things. The mattresses are terribly uncomfortable. We stayed here last year and had the same problem. The price is decent though so we will probably stay again next year for our Holiday World trip.

Summary: Not terrible but not amazing. Our room had broken things in the bathroom that seemed like easy fixes for maintenance. Also we asked the front desk for a band aide and they couldn’t even find one. That didn’t seem right. I was confused by the sign on our bathroom door saying to keep it closed or we’d set off the smoke detector. Nobody could explain that to me. 3/5 overall. Could have been worse but could have been a lot better.
