Positive: Very large rooms, very clean lobby, friendly staff. The location was very close to the interstate which was a plus to head out the next day. A few food places nearby so you don’t have to go far. They got us a different room quickly since ours wasn’t done being cleaned just yet because they were short staffed that day.
Negative: The beds were kind of hard. Water pressure wasn’t very strong. Carpet/floor needed cleaned-made my sons feet very dirty after his shower.
Summary: Very good stay over all. Staff was very nice

Positive: It was very light, bright, clean and open in the lobby. Our room was brand new and spacious.
Negative: My husband loves coffee, but he did not care for the coffee in the breakfast area. But everything else about the property and continental breakfast was very good.
Summary: We enjoyed the clean hotel and friendly staff at Richmond, IN Comforts Suites.

Positive: The hotel is rather new and does not yet reflect that there is a lack of thorough maintenance and cleaning required to ensure longevity....if you truly look closely it is apparent that this facility doesn't have an ongoing plan to correct issues as they arise. It will in my opinion be just another hotel that starts with promise and becomes progressively run down because of the corporate mindset....quite sad actually....
Negative: The so-called "good breakfast" was anything but good....no bread, no muffins, no fruit, no juice, and warm milk sitting out in unprotected pitchers....the small amount of eggs available looked to be burnt and there was NO meat of any kind what so ever. There were a couple biscuits and some gravy, but once again there was an issue of food safety.The serving utensils that were being used showed a complete lack of respect for any travelers health and well being. When I asked a member of staff from the pantry area about whether or not she could provide anything more of what had been available, I was told "we did not get our truck LAST WEEK so we do not have what we should" This statement was particularly confusing and I asked her to reiterate an additional two times just to be certain I heard correctly. I had in fact heard correctly and immediately realized that there is definitely a disconnect within the management structure of this hotel and I will assure every reader that this business will never again get the chance to earn my business. I did notice (I photographed) the owner/ operator information of this hotel and found it to be a franchise operation. I would guess that IF Choice Hotels was aware of the fact that this group could possibly alienate the consumer and cause negativity towards Confort Suites it would have consequences. Ill stick with HILTON properties .

Positive: Spacious room w lots of amenities. The heating/cooling unit wasn't needed as the temperature and air circulation were good. And in general, very quiet.
Negative: I really dislike smelling deodorizer. Heavy dose was used, please avoid it. The breakfast eggs were just OK, rather industrial looking.
