1,100 sq ft house. A gem for not being far from Richmond's financial district. Centrally located in Richmond, Virginia, 5 miles from the Va Museum of Fine Arts on the Boulevard and 5 miles from Browns Island, Belle Isle Pedestrian Bridge, and Richmond's historic Shockoe Slip. Just 1/2 mile from Forest Hill Park. The neighborhood is safe and quiet.
House will sleep 7......5 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 6 twin beds, and 1 queen bed. House has central heat and air. All linens provided, fully stocked kitchen including pet dishes, washer and dryer, 4 hdtv's and high speed wifi. Completely fenced in backyard.
40" HD wall mounted tv in living room, 3 bedrooms have tv's.
House is located just off Forest Hill Ave and Semmes Ave, close to Rt 60 Midlothian Turnpike and Forest Hill Avenue.
Pets are welcomed $95.00 one time charge for each pet, dogs only. Pets must be on a regular flea treatment program. No pets allowed in bedrooms. Cover furniture if pet likes to sit on furniture.

Summary: My husband and I were pleased with The Richmond House. It is EXACTLY as described and the host was always helpful, friendly, and accessible! If you are looking for a "modern" setting, this is not the place. This is a small, well-maintained older home that welcomed both us and our pets. We would have liked a bit more room, but all the rooms are set up a bedrooms and thus unusable in terms of "more space". The neighborhood is quiet with easy access to Richmond venues. Thank you, Rangeley, for making us feel welcome during our 16 day stay.

Summary: Our host was gracious, and very easy to communicate with. The house was clean and comfortable. It is not a fancy house, but it was great for us with our 11 year old son and 2 dogs. The yard was nicely fenced in, and we had a nice walks around the neighborhood. Overall we had a very pleasant visit.

Summary: The home is perfect for a group; 4-6, with good space to relax & be together. Clean with all the necessary appliances for cooking and enjoying the time in Richmond. Rangeley & Tom were great hosts; food in the frig on arrival & snacks ready! I couldn't find the ironing board and Tom had one to me immediately. We'd stay again. Thank you for your hospitality! Summary: This property is well maintained and comfortable. My group used it as a place to stay while attending the Nascar race at RIR. It set up well with enough sleeping accommodations and amenities for us. The owners do their best to make sure your stay is comfortable. I will look at booking this property again when in the area.

Summary: This Richmond VA home met our every need for a family of six, including two grandparents and two young children, ages 1 and 3. Our granddaughters loved the stuffed animals. Recently, beautifully renovated with modern appliances and comfortable beds, the home and its close proximity to downtown, restaurants and shopping helped make our stay very enjoyable. My son-in-law needed to get some work done online, and the WIFI connection was superfast and reliable. On street parking was never a problem, and we felt very safe in this older, established neighborhood, with friendly neighbors, who always waved and said hello. Rangeley was great in responding right away to my many questions. Steps to the second floor are a little steep, and slanted ceilings in second floor bedrooms may challenge some; but these things were not a problem for our family; and, with all the bedding options, should not be a problem for most. Each room was beautifully decorated. And, Rangeley's many thoughtful touches anticipate guests every need, even down to a packaged travel-size tube of toothpaste in the baths. Thanks again, Rangeley for a wonderful stay. I will highly recommend your beautiful, affordable home to friends traveling to the Richmond area. Eric, Denver, CO
