Summary: Took my daughters to DC for the first time and Ellen's place was perfect. Perfectly close and walkable, comfortable and safe historic neighborhood, and cozy after a long day of walking. The place was roomy, the kitchen was well-equipped, the Netflix was a nice touch, and we had a number of amenities that made it home-like. Ellen was very communicative and we enjoyed our stay.

Summary: This warm and comfortable Capitol Hill apartment was the perfect base for our late winter one-museum-a-day visit to DC. We felt at home as soon as our bags were unpacked. All but one of our destinations were within easy walking distance from our front door. The neighborhood restaurants were wonderful. Excellent groceries and pharmacy a few blocks away. Hosts were helpful and responsive to our needs. All in all a wonderful experience.

Summary: We came for the People's March in DC. Finding a safe harbor is so difficult in the calmest of times and my hosts went out of their way to make sure their rental was fragrance free, comfy and calming all around. They even had gluten free fresh baked goods waiting for us on the counter when we arrived. Such kindness will stay with me in a time when kindness means everything. The apartment was clean and comfy and a beautiful respite for our stay in a chaotic time in DC.

Summary: Perfect apartment for visiting our nation's capitol! Only a 15 minute walk to Union Station to catch the Metro. We had a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 adult children. Pretty tight quarters if you plan on staying in the apartment for long periods of time. We were usually out early and came back late so no problem for us. The apartment had a nice full kitchen, W/D, and the hosts thought of almost anything you might need and responded quickly.

Summary: Easy check in and check out, clean apartment, and had all the essentials needed. It's a great central location to the subway which was convenient because we could just park our car the entire time and not drive again until we left. The owners are very responsive as well.
