Summary: Just had a week at this excellent little gite in the Dordogne with our dog. This was our first time in France and we will certainly return at a later date. The gite is excellently located for a variety of different historic and architectural places. The surrounding area is stunning, peaceful and quiet ! Heaven at its best. The gite itself has everything you need it’s clean and comfortable, only downside is the tv, which although has hundreds of channels there was nothing in English ! This did not stop us enjoying the peace and quiet as we read and watching films using the internet on the iPad. Alexandra was a welcoming hoist and went out of her way to help and advise us. Thank you once again for letting us stay and we hope to see you in the future.

Summary: Lovely situation, host very nice and helpful. Accommodation was practical , bed was very comfortable and large - but placed in a room far to small which made it difficult to get around in the dark . If you are getting old or infirm it was be hard work ! Lighting in the gite should be improved not enough lighting on work areas of kitchen. TV was not suitable for English speakers only 4 useable News channels available , mainly German - French tv stations. Internet service was very good !
