Summary: Despite the fact that other houses are not that far away, we felt like we were in another world at Jan's Place. Such a lovely spot! We had to leave a few hours early due to a family emergency, but the place was absolutely delightful for our time there.

Summary: When I saw Jan’s home 2 years ago I knew I had to stay there. I was blown away by the photos on the listing but no photos could portray the views from the home and the large trees surrounding the property. There were reviews complaining about the air traffic but I was there 4 nights and only noticed 2 planes. It was very peaceful. We drove from Texas and stayed in every state along the way but this one was by far our favorite! Jan was a wonderful host who put a lot of cute finishing touches on our stay. Fresh flowers and sweet notes. You are in for a treat if you stay here.

Summary: We had a wonderful and comfortable stay. The owner was extremely responsive and accommodating. It was a great location to come back to each evening after our daily adventures including whale watching, touring San Juan Island and visiting North Cascade National Park. Conveniently located just outside LaConner, where there was great shopping and restaurants. We especially enjoyed our evening bon fires looking out at the water and watching the fighter jets from Whidbey Naval Air Station. Have already recommended this property to a friend.

Summary: Lovely place! Quite remote and serene. Only issue we had was it was impossible to get a Lyft or Uber during the evening so we missed our flight home. Must have your own transportation.

Summary: We stayed here as part of family vacation. The property has everything you need and more. It’s an easy day trip to several places and the local town is very nice. It’s a beautiful property in a quiet area.

Summary: We stayed at Jan’s place and it was absolutely wonderful! Beautiful view of the water though the massive trees. Comfortable beds and even better yet comfortable pillows. Super clean and well set up. And to top it off…just far enough off the beaten path it was quite and tranquil. Close enough to La Conner you could run in to town for coffee or a drink.
