4 Bedroom House in Lorne

This beautiful, four bedroom, two bathroom family home is the perfect place to relax in summer or winter in Lovely Lorne. The house is elevated enough to enjoy ocean views, but without the steep walk that often comes with those views. Wildlife abounds with kookaburras, parrots, cockatoos and many other birds visiting regularly and the odd koala and kangaroo stopping in from time to time.
Our home caters for up to 12 guests in a king bed, queen bed and queen/king single tri-bunk plus trundle upstairs and a queen bed and double bed in 'the Den' which is downstairs with its own massive lounge, tv and bar fridge (accessible from outside the house - no toilet downstairs).
The large open plan living space upstairs has something for everyone - relax in the reading/ TV nook overlooking the forest, sink into the comfy couch in front of the wood fire or simply take in the ocean views from the sun room (you can see the iconic Lorne Pier and Pacific Hotel lit up at night!). The children can stretch out on the carpet and play games at the table in the sun room, and there is even a desk and computer screen for those that need to work or study - there's loads of room!
The kitchen has been stocked with everything you need to cook up a culinary storm and the long dining table seats 10 -12, so entertaining is a breeze. Outside, take your pick from the gardens overlooking the forest at the front of the property, the afternoon sun on the back lawn, or the ocean views and BBQ on the deck.
Apologies to our school leavers, by request from our neighbours and after much heart ache, we no longer accept schoolies bookings or any party groups.

Summary: Leonie and Phil are very easy to deal with and very accomodating. Lovely home. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Living areas are very large as well as the bedrooms. Beds are very comfy as well which is a bonus. Short walk to the shops and beach which is nice. Highly recommend staying here and will most definitely be back. Also, we had a visit from one of the local kangaroos and koalas! Thanks again.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay over the Easter break. A comfortable home with great living areas a well equipped kitchen for all your holiday needs , beautiful views of the ocean and easy walking distance to the shops and beach.Our granddaughter loved the birdlife she even got to see a Koala in the tree and a kangaroo out in the backyard, she also loved a little doll that was there, she carried it everywhere with her. Leonie is so lovely and very easy to deal with. Thanks Leonie and Phil for sharing your lovely house.Highly recommend, and our family can't wait to go back

Summary: Very comfy, clean house. All was great except aircon was not working on heat setting. Being winter would have been great to have this as wood heater took a while to warm place.

Summary: A lovely spacious house, close enough (walking distance) to all the action of Lorne but far enough for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. This house was the perfect base for our family & friends to explore the area. My kids were especially thrilled when a koala perched in a gum tree in the driveway!! Leonie was the nicest host you could hope for. Ever so helpful and communicative. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to go back!
