Location: 4 miles east of Homer, LA on beautiful Lake Claiborne.
Enjoy boating and fishing from the two docks that frame the large swimming area between. Store your boat or party barge in the boat house with lift. Park your vehicles in the double carport. Large Oaks, pecan and pine trees shade the extra large fenced-in yard/picnic area. Enjoy the lake view, water sports and fishing. Paddle boat available.

A full-size back porch faces the lake with two tables, chairs, benches and bar-b-q pits. The open “L” shaped living space is defined by kitchen, dining and two sitting areas.
This spacious kitchen features everything you need, except the food. A large dining area includes a table for six, a bar that seats four and two additional tables for four.
While sitting in the lake side sitting area, enjoy a good book, or just gazing out at the lake in the comfort of central A/C. Two full baths feature both showers and tub. Three queen-sized beds in two bedrooms sleep six in comfort.

Summary: We really enjoyed our long Labor Day weekend at this house. It was impeccably clean, quiet, and spacious for 3 adults and 2 kids. We fished from the dock and caught several bream. Anything we needed was at the house and Vicki was very easy to reach if we had any questions. One thing to note is that the tv only receives local channels and there’s a Blu-ray player, but the view was so nice outside that we didn’t have much need to watch tv at all. It was a wonderful weekend!

Summary: This place is located on a very unique point right on the lake. Very nice view with its on boat ramp. It has a very spacious boat stall with heavy duty lift to keep your boat safe. The facility is very clean and well kept. It has older furnishings but everything is in excellent shape. Swimming is available in front of the camp with a sandy bottom and steps for easy access. Nearby restaurants on the lake that can be accessed by boat and other restaurants in Homer La. 4 or 5 mies down the road where you can have a good meal. Large grocery stores also available a few miles down the road to pick up any food you need. The owners take very good care of the property with the expectation to enjoy it and take care of it as well. The spacious lot is located at the end of the road with other small camps but you rarely see anyone due to the private location while you are enjoying the property. Loyd and Vicki are easily available for any questions or needs you may have.

Summary: We went to the lake with family over Easter weekend. We brought our boat and we were able to launch it directly from the property. Loyd and Vicki were great hosts. Loyd showed us how to operate the lift in the boat house and helped us back our boat into the yard. We really enjoyed the large porch, grilling burgers, and making smores in the fire pit. The house is a little dated as you can see in the pictures, but it is very clean and well maintained. We look forward to staying again!
